My pre-order of the Ultimate Loot Hunter's Edition of Borderlands 2 is a good example of why pre-ordering is good. Plus, Amazon release day shipping for $.99 (or free with Prime), no taxes, and the occational $10 or $20 future purchase credit makes it absolutely worth it.

All this extra content? A smallish statue and a steelbook case. The rest is digital content. Guessing the DLC will probably just be multiplayer stuff.

Online worked pretty well for me as well on PS3 after the first patch. Played the whole game on co-op.

I liked it, but the game felt rushed as the farther you got into the game, the less stuff there seemed to be. Like near the end in the prison, it was like just rush through big empty areas with zombies placed in all the usual places. If it was rushed, that would explain some of the bugs they had as well. Still, wasn't all bad. I loved the weapon dupe bug.

No. Only Standard.
I checked out the XMB thing and it just launches the web browser anyway.

I'd like to not rely on streaming internet to watch the whole thing, but I'll take the PS3 stream on the XMB than to watch it in standard def on G4.

Who are they going to steal it from?

And here I thought Polyphony would have just been sitting around playing minefield.

It should be noted that depending on the platform, some already have had a DLC or two. Android and iOS are up to 8 tables (Medieval Madness, Bride of Pinbot, Cirqus Voltaire, and FunHouse). DLC pack 3 should be out this week on Android as well. PS3 and 360 are supposed to get DLC pack 1 and 2 in a couple weeks. They had certification issues that caused a delay.

Finally, the studio has a kickstarter going to raise funds to cover the license fees for Twilight Zone.

I wish they'd just farm out the remake to another developer who will do a good job with it. Story and gameplay are there already. Just need to do the graphics and make sure it all works. I really have no faith in SE right now and they'd probably find a way to screw it up if they did it themselves.

Looks like a bunch of complaining and no examples beyond the game being too popular for people to expect it to work. huh? Popular games can't work right away? Rubbish!

You don't need to buy DLC to know a Smart, a van, and a Pacer are horrible cars for a racing game.

5148d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, I came here thinking, how pompus to state we missed these when they're mostly pretty obvious. Then I came here.

I agree with the review, for the most part. Most of the cars are terrible and I did not purchase the DLC.

But yeah, a bunch of these have been in Top Gear. Nt that it really matters. I mean, what does Alpine Stars have to do with the cars from last month?

Doubt it. The rumors had been around for quite a while, just like a Pearl Jam game. The PJ game even had box art up on some European website and there were other reasons to think it was coming, but it never did.

Yep. This is exactly why I want always want a physical copy.

You don't purchase the game. You purchase the right to play it. When the download service is gone, you're SOL if you ever lose your download for any reason (corruption, hardware failure, etc...).

LotR wasn't filmed in any special way that hasn't been done for decades. Hint: it's 35mm film.

It's so odd that since Blu-ray came around, people seem to think movies all of a sudden are filmed better too. And somehow seeing it at home on Blu-ray in 1080p is suddenly so crystal clear and overwhelming people when the film you see at theaters typically has much more resoltion. Even the digital projections are usually 2k, but some are 4k. I saw an article...

Neither do plenty of others. Ford Transit, Jeep, and Smart? Glad this wasn't a pack in the season pass.

I don't mind DLC in a collector's edition, but it shouldn't be the best part. Most of the time I never take the stuff out of the box and just stick it on a shelf anyway. I actually like steel cases. So getting a little something in-game is sort of nice to get. As long as it's something useful and not worthless like a gold gun in multiplayer.

Otherwise, yeah. Nothing really special here. A bigger box to hold the book and extra DVD. Oh wow, just reali...

Too bad US didn't get it.

5177d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, I noticed that. WTF is up with that? Seemed like there was about 4 or 5 copies of each movie in the trilogy.
