There's a Portal soundboard app on the Android (haha) market that you can download and use any of the sounds for ringtones or notification sounds. Although, oddly that quote isn't on there.
I'm using Portal 2 music for a generic rington and "Is anyone there" from a turret as a notification sound.
I'm a bit confused on how this even happened. How is it someone got the soundtrack to even put up on the internet before the official soundtrack was released?
Most of that article felt like something I would have written. I am just so bored with first person shooters now, but I do suspect it mostly has something to do with the fact that many of them are now mostly multiplayer, and the single player campaign takes a back seat. Hell, I bought Medal of Honor last fall and I haven't even opened it. I don't even really want to either, which is especially sad since I didn't play a game all weekend.
I want to give this article a big thumbs up.
Honest question, do people really care about watching someone else open a game? I just don't get it.
Not buying any DLC until one of them lets you continue the game after the ending.
Yeah, I don't care for the handhelds either. Kind of annoys me actually because there's quite a few games I'd like to play that are only on handhelds, but if I'm going to be playing games, I want it to be on a console so I can play it with a normal controller on my TV.
It'd be nice if any NGP games were downloadable and compatible with the PS3 so I could still purchase the games and enjoy them. I mean, they sell the systems at a loss and earn their m...
"At DICE we’re dedicated to taking care of our products after launch"
Bahaha! You mean, like the broken chat on the PS3 version of BF43 that lead to a thread dozens of pages long on the official forum with no response from anyone about it in an official position, and then have said thread magically disappear?
Not digital? It'll be analog?
It all sounds so officially official.
welcome's?
We should just change it so any word that ends with an "S" gets an apostrophe as well.
You quit too soon. The numbered levels were basically training for the rest of the game.
Unless you're looking at a different part of the article, Gabe's quote was "the PS3 version of the game the “best version on any console”." Console being the key word here.
I have it on my Evo 4G. Problem is, I can't sign in when I have a 4G signal. It brings up the login page, but when I try to sign in, it says there's no internet connection.
and I really hope they add some sort of auto sign-in feature. I hate typing out my needlessly long email address each time.
Thanks, but SkyFire worked. I just had to deal with my weak signal inside my office for a while before I got it downloaded. Got it installed but when I tried to sign in, it says there's no internet connection, even though the sign-in page comes right up. Is this just a bogus error since I'm trying to sign in with my US account? Wish I could remember my UK account details.
edit: ok nevermind. Got it to sign in. Oddly enough, it worked on a weak 3G signal, but n...
Trying to get it downloaded. I'm blocked from megaupload, and the phone's browser doesn't like the website. Trying with Skyfire now. It's a small enough file. I wish they'd just host the thing on the website.
Man, I just spent most of my day watching his videos on FFVIII and X. I'm surprised I've never heard of him before. Good stuff.
I can't figure out how to get the icon pack onto my phone. Or at least figure out where to place them so Desktop VisualizR can recognize them.
Is Dan Greenawalt that big of a car guy? All the interviews I've seen of him, he just talks about the game. He kind of comes across as strictly a business man. I know others at Turn 10 are really into cars, but Dan, I haven't seen it.
Kazunori Yamauchi, on the other hand, I've probably seen just as many interviews with him about the game as I've seen about his passion for cars. Hell, the guy even races professionally.
The stuff about adding trophies to Orange Box is pretty silly. Just let it go already. But getting Portal as a standalone download on PSN would go over pretty well, especially if it's the Still Alive version with the extra levels they didn't get in the Orange Box.
