Only time I rebuy is out of necessity. Four 360s, and so far everything else has been a single purchase. Although, I had fixed my launch day PS3 last year (a week shy of it's 5 year anniversary), I knew it was a temporary fix. About a month ago it started acting up again two days in a row, but has been fine since. I think when the new PS3 model is released, I might buy one of those to retire the old fatty.

Easter Egg? There was a whole DLC that took place on a spaceship and had aliens all over the place.
DLC pack 3 is scheduled for Sept 4th and the trophies should be available then. DLC pack 4 should be Sept 18th.

I actually didn't like playing with others. Got tired of them running off, or trying to sneak all the goods to themselves, and then take 5 minutes looking over their loot to find out what to drop so they could clear space, or just run back to the vendor to sell stuff.
I have no problem if you're doing that stuff when playing solo, but during co-op, get the lead out quit holding up the show for everyone else.
I had kinda forgotten about that. :...
If you didn't enjoy Borderlands after the first hour, stick with it a bit longer. Once you start unlocking weapon slots and get class mods, grenades, and special skills, the loot starts rolling in and it becomes a lot of fun.
Dead horse is now a pile of goo with bits of fur.
Well, there was a sign with the incomplete internal demo that was deemed not good enough, so it got shelved until it could be made good.
Good article. This deserves far more attention than all the other idiotic articles claiming there's some big firestorm over this.
It's not on disc. The game has been done and they've started work on the character, but won't be available until 60-90 days after launch.
I prefer physical over digital. I collect games and you can't really collect a digital download. Well, you can, but it's not nearly as satisfying. That's not to say that downloadables don't have a place, especially with the smaller/indie developers where a phyical copy may be overkill. But for full games, I don't want them eating up my HD space.
Too much of the country without access to high speed internet to go full DD.
I like pre-order bonuses. There's nothing wrong with rewarding people who are going to be putting up their money right away. The problem lies in (and this is what the headline should have focused on) is retailer exclusives.
Are you talking about Pulse or Qore? The last episode of Pulse was a month ago.
Did Pulse get cancelled?
Why do you feel that you're excluded from this event? Claiming this is segregation is like calling the Adult Entertainment Expo segretationist from other forms of media.
Yeah! And while they're at it they should get rid of press only conferences and developer conferences. I mean, they're not even open to the public! Where's my pitchfork!?
Why wait for the game to release first? Many games are finished a couple months before the release date to give time for certification and production. This game is no doubt nearing completion, so setting up a separate team to start work on DLC just makes sense to keep people busy.
Same here. Already fixed my launch day system once and I think it might be ready to go out again. If I can buy the 16GB model and put in my own HD, I'm going to jump on it.
Dead Island isn't a bad comparison. Except it was rushed and a bit buggy, and more melee focused than shooter. Didn't have the depth and length that Borderlands does.
Per Kevin Butler Tweet (which is still going, even if the actor is gone) regarding this:
Fans: thanks for suggesting me as the final boss in #PSAllStarsBattleRoyale. But research shows you like a game you can actually beat,
