Weren't most of the previous trailers SP footage?
They've shown quite a lot, especially considering that Battlefield is a series that is known mainly for its multiplayer.
Could be implying that the GT series has gone from the PS1 to PS3.
I'd assume a graphical growth is pretty much a given there.
Having a job and having skyrim are mutually exclusive.
I lol'd at 1:50
Shotguns are tricky to use at close range!
Ending sounded like... Inception?
^ Gotta hand it to whoever made that, they didn't leave any stones unturned.
...Kinect, simplified controller, publisher titles.
Interestingly, if they had shown the first level of BloodMoney, you'd have a similar reaction.
^ Hmm, I guess you're right on most of 'em.
Though there were cases where I'd expect different things to happen, such as, what happens if you disguise yourself as a cop in the first section?
... or what happens if you hide and let the cops fight the druggies.
... but yea, hopefully it is an introductory level as it also showcases most of 47's arsenal and I doubt IO would want to completely spoil an actual level.
^ Doesn't seem linear to me.
Seems to have the same type of level design as the previous games.
There seems to be a bigger focus on action set-pieces (such as the heli part), but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
It reminded me of Contracts.
... So, phase 2 won't be a bar full of villains whining about Michael?
That's rather unfortunate. =(
Well, you joined less than 2 days ago yourself.
So that puts you in some doubt as well.
As for the article, I suppose it holds true. EVE's universe is quite big.
Remains to be seen if it actually does that well commercially.
He killed the cops because that's what the person playing the game wanted to do.
Assuming that the core ideology behind the game design is the same as before, it should be possible to get through without killing anyone or alerting them.
He could've knocked out one cop and stole his uniform in the beginning part.
... or he could've grabbed the rifles near the end and blasted his way out.
That's the beauty of Hitman game...
Seems equally flamebait either ways.
Seems to me that the point is that don't buy an expensive PC to play the games when you can buy a cheaper console that can play the game later.
That's all fine and fair, but by that logic, you might as well not buy a console until the end of the life cycle. Why pay $600 for a PS3 at launch when you can wait a few years and get it for less than half the price?
A $2000 PC in 2007 would run Crysis better than the current console could. (That's alread...
@Imaballa
The Cell has 8 SPUs.
One is disabled.
The other is used for the OS.
That leaves 6.
The meaning behind iD's comments were that all available SPUs would be used, but it seems the author didn't take the time to try and comprehend the meaning of the comment.
(i.e. the author missed the actual point)
The same applies here.
The main point was that hip-firing is too effective, not the fact that hip-fi...
Not surprising given the site's history.
These are the same guys that said RAGE on PS3 would use all 8 SPEs.
However, this article is a bit better... just wish they went with a different title.
Looks good... but doesn't really overshadow Rage.
Doesn't quite have the artistic touch.
It's calmed down a bit after the BF3 beta.
It'll probably surge back as MW3 gets closer to release.
... Isn't the stereotypical mom also 35~40 years old?
I love stalker too... but part of that love is due to mods.
... and this DRM decision kind of has me torn.
I'll wait for more details, but this online authentication better not interfere with mod support.
Well, visuals aren't everything and it's nice that a bigger audience can now play the game.
... even if it was down to graphics, why would 2007 have the best crysis experience? You can play the game now with visual mods that blow the vanilla game out of the water.
