Check the gameplay trailer for B2K, it shows 7 cap points.
That's right. Seven.
It still isn't in the same league as BF2, but still, it's an improvement over the current CQ maps. Firestrom, Kharg and Caspian seem to be the only decent ones so far.
^ Metro CQ is BF3's version of Nuketown.
People play it for the XP because of the head-on combat.
It seems some of those maps were designed for Rush in mind.
When did bf3stats become "Battlefield3's official website"?
Also, those numbers only tell you how many people are playing at the moment. The numbers change over time. The article's conclusion is more or less meaningless.
Not the limited edition though. Factor in the Karakand DLC.
... I wonder how Uncharted2 ended up with a 96 on Metacritic then.
>.>
... SanAndreas was the only real gangster game.
SR tries to go for over-the-top action in an open world. JustCause also goes for over-the-top action in an open world where your main goal is seemingly to cause mayhem.
It appears to me that JC & SR appears to have more in common than GTA.
Not sure why it's always a GTA vs SR comparison.
You'd think it'd be SaintsRow vs JustCause (even though JC tried to be like Mercenaries)
^ DICE have admitted that the BC2 DLC idea wasn't good. Still, the BC2 DLC was free to first-hand purchasers.
Considering that the maps in BF3 support all game-modes, I don't think they'd be releasing 'game-mode DLCs'
DLC for BC2 was also slower because DICE got pinned the task of making MoH's multiplayer.
Yea, I'm kind of hoping they add a bit more variety to the locals.
BC2 had a nice variety of jungle, desert and snow environments. Don't see why they've limited themselves to the wastelandish environments in Bf3.
^ Only the BackToKarakand DLC is free for pre-orders.
The remaining DLCs will have a monetary cost.
As for those wondering if this is good or bad, the previous BF games also had DLC (they were called 'expansions' back then).
It remains to be seen if the DLC is any good, but if their recent BC2:Vietnam expansion is anything to go by, it'll be good.
I've only played the first Condemned, and although scary, I don't think it is scarier than Amnesia, FEAR, SilentHill2 or EternalDarkness.
... but yea, it should've gotten a mention, along with STALKER, FatalFrame, Penumbra, the older ResidentEvil games and DeadSpace.
Official forums are usually full of douchebaggery near a game's release.
Though I tend to see more people giving negative comments than defending the game.
It'll clear up after 4 months or so...
Yup, the greatest anti-cheat tool of all; good admins.
Unfortunately, random people on twitter squabbling over supposed hackers isn't all that concrete evidence.
It isn't uncommon for people to pull the hax-card whenever they get their arse handed to them in a round.
The people leveling up quickly is the only kind of hack I've seen so far judging from the forums, but that isn't really that big of a problem.
... and how would we accomplish that?
... how so?
Steam games get pirated just as easily as non-steam games.
Veteran status was working during the beta, so it appears to be integrated into Battlelog.
It didn't show up in-game like BC2, but it was there on each player's profile.
...then the negative would be the lack of proper SP.
Kind of like how it was with Brink.
Wrong.
They played the release copy then traveled back in time to write the review.
I know because I let them borrow my flux capacitor.

Please spend some more time on the drawing board before trying to spin this against digital-distribution.
Retail steamworks games require steam. Doesn't matter if you get them digitally or not.
