1. Yes, any accounts on the same PS3 will be able to access the content once it is downloaded/installed. However, only the original PS+ subscriber can actually download it from the PS-Store.
(I believe this is also true for any purchases on PSN as well, as even online passes can be shared on the same PS3)

2. DigitalRaptor has already answered that. As long as the PSN Store shows a red bag icon next to the game, you won't loose i...

Gameplay would be drastically different in a modern world. Can't exactly hop around on rooftops and melee people. Outside of the story, I don't see a game set in modern-day fitting in with the rest of the franchise.

If anything, it would be something like what WatchDogs is trying to be.

Isn't it obvious that the car crash, if triggered, would follow a script?
If it was just random traffic, then there's a pretty big chance that the target makes through unscathed. (...and if you're doing an E3 presentation, just serves to make the player look foolish)

Whether the street-light-induced car crash is different in each playthrough isn't really what people are excited about, it's the fact that you can even do such a thing which is intrigu...

Battlefield has 2 f2p variants. There is also a f2p need for speed... so I don't find it hard to believe.

A prequel for L4D would be pretty pointless since NaughtyDog is already making one.
It's called The Last Of Us and explores the story of young Bill and Zoey.

That's what I read from somewhere, anyways.

SplinterCell as well. Although it was kinda veering towards that route since Conviction.

It's always interesting when multiple developers appear to get the same idea. Another common element in a lot of games at E3 was bows (TombRaider, Crysis3, FarCry3), while last year it was boats (MW3, UC3, AC:Revelations)

Poor Crytek. Getting upstaged by another developer in their own article. =/

What games did HeavyRain influence?
Uncharted has make some pretty clear influences, particularly this E3, but I can't really thing of many games that have borrowed much from HR.

You're still running an OS... and the memory footprint of that OS is going to rise as more features are added to it.

"Skyrim just puts you into a world that you know nothing about and expects you to put all the pieces together yourself...instead of putting the pieces together for you so that you don't have to struggle to understand whats going on. "

Well, you're kinda meant to explore and piece together things yourselves.
Having it do that for you would be like a shooter game that shoots all the bad guys for you (like the recent SplinterCells maybe :D)

I'm happier with what they're doing now. I don't think it is ever wise to complain about a company 'trying too hard' to appeal to you.

The games that they did give out for free (or rather, rent out for free) aren't really that old. Infamous2, LPB2, All4One, SpaceMarine and MotorstormApocalypse were all recent games (i.e. 2011). The older games like SaintsRow2 and JustCause2 are also pretty good in their own rights.

If they just pick 1 ...
