If the PS3 owners have more diversity, then aren't they stupider for buying a 'lackluster' game like CoD?
You can argue that the 360 owners are just unfortunate and have no choice, so they're victims of misfortune rather than idiots... but you can't make the same argument for the PS3 owners.

I find it amusing how I can basically buy BC2 for 15$ from EAStore right now... whereas CoD has the prospect of buying 5 maps for the same price.

I saw the twist coming because really... where else would the story go? Granted, I was never quite sure about Al-Mualim (sometimes he acted like a saint)... but it was always something in the back of my mind. So can't really say I never saw it coming.

Me playing my own music for my own computer through my own speakers has no effect whatsoever on the people I play with... aside from having a deaf team-mate.
Though there are people who blast their own music through the in-game voice chat, which I find annoying... and another reason why multiplayer games get the almighty mute from me.

Completely mute the in-game audio and put on some music... I find the constant ratatatatatata-booms to get annoying after a while.
Though, DICE seem quite adept at giving me eargasms. I actually didn't mute BC2 untill after two-months.
Its mostly the steam forums.
... and considering how they whine over free updates from valve (feel free to visit the TF2 or L4D forums), you can expect quite a storm when they realize how other developpers handle things.
Its why it's best to never release a heavily anticipated game so as to avoid the inevitable crying.
I think 3D-realms was the only developer wise enough to realize this truth.
I'll agree that it is overblown and has a few technical issues making it broken... but a 'rehash'?
They added in new game-modes, a new unlock system, while introducing new weapons, while still retaining the core gameplay fans love. (in Multiplayer)
...and they gave the single-player a decent storyline (arguable the best in the series... but opinions can differ)
That's how a series work, is it not?
PC gamers don't ask much.
Just give us a more or less stable game and dedicated servers support. We'll be happy.
(Although I've found my experience on the PC to be pretty great since the last patch)
... then again, maybe they do ask too much. Console gamers just ask for a game that looks pretty.
