No proof is ever needed to prove anyone wrong if they themselves have no real point.
The burden of proof lies on the person making claims.
If you said that the kinect is nothing special, then that would be fine.
If you wish to go on and on about how gimmicky/glitchy/faulty or pointless it is, then you need to show some proofs.
No-one needs to prove you wrong because you yourself haven't proved anything, thereby there is nothing to disprov...
Promise?
So, you'd be the one pirating it or what?
O.o
I may not be the brightest tool in the shed, but... was that game against bots?
Otherwise, wouldn't everyone in that match have a copy too? O.o
Haha, now that's genuine journalism. :D
I came. I saw. I came.
Glad to hear someone thought the same.
The other replies had me worried. :S
I can find Yahtzee's review enjoyable... and even George Carlin's comedy when it comes to going-against-the-system... but this review... urgh.
Its arguable whether the new vehicle/weapons can be considered 'new' and not just 're-skinned'.
DICE did the same in MoH where they just used BC2's animations and changed the weapon modle/skin slightly.
... and their other 'DLC' really hasn't been of much value since it just unlocked game-modes on the same maps.
Though even then, 4 battlefield-sized maps is plenty bang for the buck. =)
Haven't you heard the rumor that jumping to conclusions based rumors isn't a smart thing to do?
Anyways, it wasn't a rumor, it was an interview. All it said was they they were exploring different pricing systems.
The DLC was mostly on par with the maps-per-buck as most others. They cut corner by just releasing older maps, but meh.
Crysis or Stalker are... not as linear.
... maybe FarCry can count in this as well?
There appears to be some loss in the knees.
... interesting.
Baclk & White was fun.
It helped me understand why God was always so pissed off in the bible.
I think he means if it would be possible to limit what killstreaks can be used in a match.
The article mentions that you can limit which perks can be used as well as which weapons, but made no mention of killstreaks.
@Persistantthug
Console versions are built due to greed (that's not saying much because everything is more or less built due to greed). Publisher's can't deny the large amount of sums to be made in the consoles, so they have the devs make a multiplatform game.
The problem is that the game must now run on all platforms. They can either make a huge effort adding a bunch of extra bells and whistles for the PC version (which would be unfair to the consoles) or try maki...
Graphics and Sound. That's all that matters these days.
>.>
They'll go around that by not giving the SP any extra treatment and just tone-down the visuals to match the MP. :D
I like the logic behind the conspiracy theories.
Pirates will repeatedly buy a console, but will never settle for buying the actual games. :D
Complaining about lack of online players... on a game that hasn't been released yet. Heh. =)
So I guess its safe to buy for the PC then.
It's still alive.
They just aren't releasing much info, so it's hard to get excited. =x
I'd expect some more details around late-Winter/early-Spring as long as there's no delays.
Depends on what form of multiplayer they're going.
If it's a VS mode, then... meh, it doesn't really fit.
Though a lot of games nowadays have the capability of weaving Co-Op into the game, which would be a welcome addition. Might not work too well in a horror setting (ResidentEvil5, I'm looking at you) but it can still add some replay value.
Either that or you just toss the fear factor out the window and go for a L4D style approach for...
"nextgen engine" ... wouldn't that require a next-gen platform? Their current engine is fine.
It handles 60FPS while still looking good with acceptable hit-registration, that's a good engine.
A copy can't be worse if it is a complete copy.
You're going to find similarities in the game because it's a series... look at any other series and you'll find the same trend.
P.S. I find that most people who use the word...
