Bad user interface is an inherent flaw of Open Source?
O.o
Next up: Developpers should remove the easy difficulty since I don't want people to cheat by artificially making the game easier.
As a hardcore gamer, I think everyone who plays this game must take it seriously.
Also, I myself am incapable of not preventing myself from picking the easy difficulty, so please developpers just remove it from the game because I lack the self-control to prevent myself from taking the easy path.

(...
... I wish they hadn't touched office's UserInterface.
"The guy just crashed into a wall but the car barely got a scratch"
- Oh well, if it was that realistic it wouldn't be fun because every time you crash you'd have to restart because your car would be totaled and your driver in a coma. That's too realistic, the game has to be fun too.
"No rewind feature"
- Rewinding is unrealistic. This is supposed to be realistic.

Stay forever unbia...
Well... His collection of cars and GT5.
Got to be a link somewhere in there, right?
Aim assist and kids without skills...
... and then you mention PC shooters as alternatives.
Sneaky move there, sir.
Quake is where da actions at yo.
Halo and CoD don't have good chemistry it seems. As a good chunk from either side can't handle the opposing game. (No iron sights? RAEG?!!?)
Well, I don't necessarily think games are getting easier. It's just that the AI hasn't been improving. The strategy that most games go for is create mindless enemy and then multiply it.
Also, what I have noticed is that level design is getting better. Very rarely do I find games where I get stuck. I remember playing some of the older games where I'd reach a dead end and have no idea where to go. It was a good half hour of running around retracing steps to figu...
I guess I'll have to get around to playing GoW3 then.
=)
God of War is hardcore? Granted, I haven't played the third one, but I found the first two a bit button-mashy. Or maybe I just played it wrong.
I logged well over 100hours on DMC3, with a huge portion of time spent in the first chapter. It also made me cry multiple times in my first week of playing it.
... not sure how a game being exclusive and selling more makes it 'hardcore'. If anything, hardcore games don't get huge sales because they tar...
I blame senility.
... Can't believe I hadn't noticed that reference.
Christ, the bandana too.
I feel stupid. *goes back to live under his rock*
=(
How are the gang going to get out of this one?
Err... I don't wish to spoil your little party. But before the fanboy war starts, did anyone notice that I mentioned "HAT variety"?
Oh well, TF2 humour doesn't float well around here I guess.... then again, I deserve it for making the lame joke anyways.
You folks have yourselves a nice evening.
That's an acceptable reason.
Albeit I still find it a tad bit arbitrary, I can see why you believe that way, and I must say, I agree on some of it.
Thanks for sharing, I was a bit curious on what people against it thought.
I'd try countering it but it seems we're both out of bubbles so I'd rather not continue a discussion in which neither of us can participate in afterwards.
Have a good'un.
=)
Killzone3 gets boring very quickly because there isn't enough hat variety.
Well you'll have to give some reason why it's wrong or disrespectful to kill someone less than 18 while it's ok to be killing soldiers, policemen or "innocent" civilians-over-18 in other games isn't.
Is there any actual logic behind it or just some belief that you hold on to?
Obviously some punk like me who hasn't experienced this situation wouldn't be as sensitive as someone who has actually been affected by a school shooting, but su...
Looking forward to Brink.
I pray for the day that FPS games will start going back to using colours in their games.
I still play L4D & L4D2 from time to time. The same scenarios have quite a replay value, especially coupled with Versus mode. (Keeping in mind that each scenario itself has multiple "chapters")
The price of admission was well worth the bang.
How many other developpers give out post-launch maps and content anyways? Never mind that fact that its free too (on the PC atleast)
They don't use the community created content as a crutch, rath...
It's called a hidden feature when anyone else does it. =)
Actually, come to think of it... Has Microsoft ever made anything that wasn't hacked?
