... or do the sentries count as characters?
If not, then the Sam&Max games... or... even Tales of Monkey island... maybe.
Yea, I know. It's a cheap move to name small games.
"Of course the best option was the one that gamers had years ago. Pay $60 and get a full game and experience, not just a single player game. "
... how do these passes change that? ... or am I reading it wrong?
Meh, I always buy my games new, and buy 'em for keeps. So I guess it doesn't affect me.
When I boot up BF3, I want to be blown away.
I'd expect nothing less.
Crap... I've wasted all my bubbles on making half-baked comments. =/
Participating in it doesn't make one any better.
EDIT: Yea, I didn't mean you. I meant that it was a poor excuse to use.
People will never shut-up since the tables will just turn. There'd still be pointless bickering.
... but how does making it open source allow for mods?
O.o
Someone needs to pry the LMG's from those dastardly medics.
Nothing rages me more than getting snipe-sprayed by a Medic... and then having the killcam show his grinning face and moustache. Argh. =/
Give them a shotgun...
Why run when you can submarine?
It was better in the early days when the only way to take down the chopper was somalian style.

GoW3 looks great, no denying that.
However, MLAA isn't exactly an innovation that is due to the excellence of PS3's hardware, rather, it's the opposite.
PS3 developers have no doubt come up with many ingenious ways of getting their games to look and perform as well as they do. However, that innovation mostly deals with getting the game to run on a specific hardware.
Though there still are a few innovative games such as LPB. Consoles aren...
... that song is better than the Heavy version (aswell as Bieber's original, but that wouldn't be saying much)

... am I the only one who found the article's preview image to be hilarious?
( Yea, I don't read xkcd much =/ )
It started off kinda shaky ... but the top choices were well-made.
... although I had guessed that the list would be nothing but RPGs. =/
Why not pick up a third kidney?
.... hmm?
@ UCME
Err... 6% ? O.o
Most PCGamers have a decent rig that can max the original crysis at 720p.
Most people I know on Steam and Xfire play their games either maxed or close to it... or maybe all my friends are elitist pricks. Who knows. They certainly sound like ones when they're drunk on Vent. >.>
As for the random elitist that have a knack for pocking their neck into articles and unnecessarily bragging about their PC, th...
... Civ5 was second place. =(
Shame. That game deserves some spotlight.
I'd consider MS the lesser of two evils there.
Something about that black turtle-neck just rubs me off the wrong way.
Aye, the moment (and if) Steam actually starts supporting Linux then I'll switch over in a heartbeat.
Although the Linux-side of the lawn isn't a rose garden either. Especially with the zealots that believe everything should be open and that if you aren't compiling the OS from source and hand-picking your modules then you're doing it wrong.
... but small radical portion of users asside, the actual software is amazing for everything... except gaming. =(...
... Just looks like they've added more action set-pieces... and the enemies have some weight.
Not much Survival Horror going on here. Unless if gore qualifies as horror.
Or maybe they're being smart and not displaying that actual scary parts to not spoil the fun.
Who knows.
The title of that article was rhetorical and it was about how it's nice to see games such as Crysis2 and UC3 which are pushing the graphical boundaries as opposed to other games which re-use the same engine.
What's that coming over the hill, is it a copy-paysta, is it a copy-paystaaAaAAaAAa???
It'll get flagged down... soon.
