... The music industry is dead? O.o
I mean, it might be dead artistically... but those singers are still wearing white gold from what I hear.
^ Most DD services I know of offer discounts regularly.
Steam gets publicity because it has more users (and is quite smart with its sales too) but other distributors such as D2D, Ea-Store, Gog, Gamersgate, etc. do offer low prices and sales too.
Hell, even GFWL has some good deals from time to time. There's a fair bit of competition in the DD market on PCs and that means free hotdogs for us all. =)
If Sony/MS loose the DD monopoly on their systems...
Ain't that true for most multiplats that are available on PC?
O.o
... well, unless if it's an online game and most of yer friends are getting it for another system because they don't have a capable PC and can't be bothered to rent their spleen out to get enough dosh to buy a good PC.
Rated "E" for 'Elderly ones' ?
O.o
Makes no difference. Most people will only read the title and then proceed to make a comment that sounds witty to them.
It seems people aren't here for any news. They just want to throw mud at others for having a different opinion. Flamebait titles just makes it easier.
^ You forgot Forza. You should copy/paste it's description from this article. It's #11.

err... Rage looks pretty spectacular.
iD ain't exactly a no-name company. =/
EDIT: @below
Well, yea, the list is mostly useless since it is comparing games that aren't out. Some of which don't even have any actual worthwhile footage.
Farkin' Magnetic Motion Controllers, how do they work?
Jesus, I just wasted 5 minutes trying to figure out who this "otheros" guy is.
Sounds like a greek name... =/
@Game-ur
Depends where you live.
If it's NewZealand where your monthly bandwidth is capped at 15gb, then yea, it'll be difficult to download games.
If it's a college campus then ...
HDTVs aren't three-year old technology. As I said, you need HD content for the TV to be of any use. You bought it in a time where such content was available.
Life's main goal is survival. When someone else uses a tool to advance their chances, you must do the same.
You'll 'need' higher education to get a job, even though most of our scientific knowledge was gained in the past 100 years.
Same applies to cars. It helps your survival, it is a ...
Inane lists driving you insane?
:D
We need cars. It's hard to get far in life without it. In the same sense that one needs a job, even if technically we don't.
An HDTV makes a huge difference between a standard TV... but only now since there is actual HD content. (In the same way that the first Ford was a useless car since you could jog faster than it)
Same applies to 3D; in it's current state, it is more of a gimmick.
If it improves, then it'll be worth the jump (proba...
For many, he was the last thing they heard.
@Dragon_Hiko
If ProductA ceases to exist, then that doesn't mean that its consumers will buy ProductB (or C or D, or E or...).
Those games will only gain sales if they offered something comparable to CoD, but they don't. They offer a different experience. People buy games that appeal to them. If they don't find any appealing game, they will simply not buy anything.
It's great to see you using common sense. Now, try using your ...
Isaac is IronMan!
Those creepies don't stand a chance now.
^ There's free-to-play generic shooters too.
I know. Super Meat Boy had a much better narrative in which "you play as an animated cube of meat who's trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux. "
The game advertises that it has "A story so moving you will cry yourself to sleep for the rest of your life" and by golly did it deliver.
(Quoted content stolen from it's steam store page)
"If you put your crosshair on someone, your bullet's going to hit, that's how shooters work. "
I can think of some games in which that doesn't always happen...
...
... like Stalker on easy difficulty. (One of which was also published by THQ!)
I don't know, I kinda would've liked it if your character's hands trembled like crazy the first time you pointed a gun at someone.
I wonder if s...
Well, that's if everyone you know lives close enough for you to wave the disc at...
Otherwise, I can simply point people to my steam profile and show them my game list.
