"Like previous games in the series, BFBC2 encourages teamwork more than all the other shooters combined."
All the other shooters combined eh?
O.o
Would be nice if the review actually explained something.
^ Battlefield doesn't exactly rival CoD.
MoH has a better chance of doing that.
CoD is already at $5 a month if you consider the people that buy it yearly.
It was for $7 for two days. =/
... Why does steam have cheaper EA games on sale than the EA store itself?
Well, I guess MassEffect is cheaper at least.
Both Steam and D2D have MoH for 50% off... bleh.
It's the typical survival horror formula:
- Explore dark spooky environment
- Find a few items
- Combine said items to make new item
- New item helps you proceed further
That's the gist of it at least. It's similar to the old ResidentEvil/SilentHill games.
Good to see people picking up the stalker games.
They're quite scary too... or well, they've got good atmosphere that can lead to scares.
It's going to take a good chunk of time to chew through those games. Good thing you skipped on the MassEffect sales. =p
I have 62 games that I've yet to complete. =(
Give Sam & Max episode 104 a shot too. It's free and good fun.
MassEffect2's beginning is better appreciated if you've played the original.
It doesn't do anything epic asside from raising a lot of questions... that, and how many games start off with the main character dying?
Anyways, is this list counting the intro cutscenes or the beginning's gameplay?
Onimusha3 had one hell of an intro cutscene.
Good list though. I forgot about Fahrenheit's opening. That was an awesome way to kick of...
^ What about the Wii? ... or the PC...?
... or ESPN.
ESPN has the most games covered in 2011.
I just can't immerse myself in a universe where the characters are inhabitants of the uncanny valley.
I never managed to make it past that city built on a Ship... farthest I've gone until losing interest.
Although I did explore every nook and cranny of Megaton and completed all the quests there. =/
^ "Emulators don't exactly take up alot of power"
You definitely know what you're talking about.
^ Patience and strategy are difficult for most of the current gaming population.
@AndrewRyan
You missed the OrangeBox for $7.50 during the Thanksgiving sales?
=o
Check the indie packs.
I think the fright pack has a co-op game in it (Scourge Project?)
There was also Borderlands. :D
... too many sequels.
Oh, and Battlefield3.
Reload Dr.Freeman.
wii would like to play?
Aye, the fanboys have always been there.
It's just that most of them are now younger and have an avenue with the internet being everywhere.
There always is fanboyism is any domain, be it consoles, OperatingSystems, Cars or sports teams. It doesn't destroy anything, it just makes a bunch of people look like idiots.
I regret buying MeatBoy.
The difficulty makes me cry... and I'm only on the first chapter.
Modern gaming has made me a wuss.
=/
SuperMeatBoy should have a steam-version skin.
Replace MeatBoy with a Wallet or a CreditCard and have him dodge his way through sales and deals.
=/
Sure is easy to guess most of the games that'll appear in the top 10.
