So, Mom's don't approve of a game with pseudo-horror elements and dismemberment.
Meh, didn't find any of them that hilarious...
... though the 2nd vid wasn't that bad.
That scene at 1:06 of the first video was awesome.
... Is it just me, or does the article read like an advertisement?
Too bad mods don't count.
I'm looking forward to Cry of Fear mod for the original Half-Life. Among other mods.
Good to see everyone getting angry because one person doesn't feel like buying a specific console.
Yes, I hope he gets hit by a truck too for not sharing your tastes.
Kudos for feeding the troll.
Kinda redundant if Steam is already there. (Although might not be that updated on the mac-side of things)
Just means more competition, which ultimately means better deals.
> 360 fanboys were stupid annoying jerks 5 years ago
> This justifies ps3 fanboys being stupid annoying jerks now.
Ahh, I see. That makes perfect sense.
Carry on.
Is this new?
I saw something similar a while ago... and I remember thinking that the body at 0:13 doesn't fall realistically.
^ Why not?
I do it all the time when in doubt about a game's performance.
If it doesn't have a demo, then I check how it runs and then just buy it if it works fine.
Most pirates however, will not pay for the game, you're right about that, but most pirates never have the intention of buying the game to begin with. It's not exactly a lost sale.
The PC is given a backseat by most third-party developers since it's less...
Am I the only one who finds it amusing that both BlackMesa and Half-Life have similar development cycles?
Although it did feel more like a story-based TPS than an RPG, it wasn't a bad game.
Shooting felt solid, and the squad abilities made for some good battles.
Though I played it on the PC. So not sure how the 360 experience goes.
Wouldn't call it the most over-rated game though. CoD probably takes the cake for that each year.
Well, built for dx11 with dx10 support, and made with 64-bit in mind while also supporting hyper-threading.
Has the fancy bells and whistles like tesselation, better lighting, more complete destruction, and, well, a generally more optimized engine.
I don't think any real solid detail is out yet.
... wii would like to hate?
6-7 hours + Co-op
Your loss.
Although trying to measure a puzzle game's length is kinda... cumbersome.
Hmm, I never realized that LPB was similar to N4G.
Hop around, explore user-generated content and collect bubbles.
The party just never ends. =/
EDIT @below: Well, yea. You gotta get a bunch of buddies and help each other get bubbles.
@stbl990
It's not about comparisons. That's why I said that since all home consoles are different, you wouldn't be able to compare them.
We aren't here trying to discuss which console is "best". The point of this article is which console has sold the most in NorthAmerica.
This is nothing but statistics. If there was a list of "Best Selling Vehicles" then both Cars and Bikes would be included because a vehic...
@stbl990
Err... how can you compare anything then? O.o
Not all home consoles are the same. One might even be "more accesible, cheaper, oriented to even childrens under 9 years old" ... =/
They're hardware who's main purpose is to play games.
*reads mrv321's comment*
What's up with every Tom, Dick and Harry trying to come up with analogies that don't even represent the situation fairly?
O.o
Publishers are more worried about used-game sales than piracy.
Most games are multiplat, and anyone who wants to pirate it will just do it on a PC. Only exclusives might suffer, but there's enough of a dedicated fanbase to support those titles.
... Wakka is Bender?
Oh God, I was so ignorant this whole time. =(
Good list. =)
