Harry, I haven't played it, but I remember a review somewhere (maybe IGN) that said you had to play it through on the same difficulty as your game save. The reason why I remember is because the reviewer mentioned it specifically and didn't really agree with it.
Found it: "You'll have to play through the game multiple times to improve your gear and understand the full story. However, not being able to change your difficulty after you beat the game is a bad decision." ...
Looks interesting, but the graphics aren't as good as LBP. It looks "basic" or something. I don't think that our little Sackboy friend is going anywhere. This game is for teaching kids basic programming (see dreamcastfanboy below) and looks more like a puzzler than anything else.
Bubbles tetsuhana for tracking those scans down. Sucks I can't read 'em, but the shots look interesting.
Don't know much about it, but that Google phone sure is fugly. Looks like an old, cheap palm pilot or something from the late 90's.
You smoke shrooms? When I was a kid we just ate 'em, and no they weren't delicious. Needed some soda to wash 'em down.
LOL @ Armyless. Thanks for the memories man!
Anyhow, back to the point: There aren't too many people who will try to get everything in this game, but there sure is a lot of playtime there for anyone who wants it. As of I've said before, this is a day one purchase whether it's 420 hours or 42. R2 is gonna rock and beta was nice.
Is that Wilford Brimley?
What's so bad about the Fallout animations?
(I'm planning on picking it up soon)
I was sick not getting in the beta, but having played nothing else (well, except a little Disgaea) since getting this last Saturday I can say I'm totally blown away. The controls could use a little "tightening" (specifically jumping and momentum), but that is a minor complaint. It's definitely got GOTY potential. Can't wait for MM to put out more levels. The user created ones aren't quite to their level just yet.
Total sarcasm. Breakfast has 2 PS3's and spends most of his time playing Sonic as it's his favorite game of all time. I don't even think he owns a 360. :P
He sure does make for a good laugh.
Now, socomnick, that's another story altogether...
This was a day one purchase no matter what for me. I loved RFoM, just wish the story had been a little more fleshed out. Sounds like I'll get my wish here in the second one. Thanks Siligon for the review. Now just a few more days!
Oh well, PS3 is losing ground in the Japanese market...
I'll just go back to playing LBP here in the NA market where they seem to be doing just fine even with a certain competitor's price drop.
Numbers, schmumbers. I could spin those so many different ways, but I'll leave that up to the politicians. :D
But, but what had happen was. . . . :P
EDIT: @Sarcasm
"Skimpy skirts with big boobs and wet white panties..."
...
Jeez, Breakfast, way to waste most of yer bubbles :P
Here, I'll give you one so you can keep me in stitches...
BTW, where's toughname been?
I always assumed this game would drop holiday season '09. Didn't think that it would take them that long for the full game since the framework provided by Prologue is already at such a high level. Hope we see it sooner rather than later.
Fack no, I've never done that with a game. Now music CDs, that's another story. I used to buy so many CDs years ago that it wasn't odd for me to actually have two unopened versions of the same exact album. Did that on many an occasion, but never with games.
22 hours later and the servers still aren't up. I was pissed at first when the codes wouldn't work. Thought I was going to have to take it out on a gamestop employee! :P
Anyhow, they should have the damned servers up by now, especially if they knew the game was shipping out on Friday (and earlier by the sounds of it in other places). I was the first to get my copy at that gamestop as they'd evidently just arrived since the manager had to open the box they came in. That was a...
Yeah, this is kind of a no brainer that should have been the process from the get go. Although this is more for new releases, hopefully we'll see some more PS1 titles as well since Japan has seen more than their fair share.
There's like 3 minutes of my life I'll never get back...
gamedaily, anyone? I hate that crap too, although I did click through this one...
Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back so hard... :P
That's exactly what caught my attention when I first read it. I'm sure there is more to the story, but it still doesn't explain why the videos were/are only on 360. Just because BMG decided the 360 should have them doesn't mean they shouldn't have seen the light of day on PS3. I mean we are not talking about movies here, a 4 minute video could've easily been d/l'able from the PSN long before Sony introduced the movie store.
I've always wondered why we didn't see more Sony &q...
