I don't remember the story being about Bioshock or Halo...just saying. Also, Bioshock is a single player game only. Carry on...
On topic: Good to know the campaign is at least 10 hours. Could tack on a few hours extra on the harder difficulties. I am very much looking forward to GeOW2.
Question for anyone that reads this: Is the gold lancer available for pre-order from Gamestop worth it? I don't want to look like a tool when I jump into multiplayer for the first ti...
I don't understand. I thought all arcade 360's had a memory card that came with them...If I remember correctly, memory cards didn't come with the core/arcade consoles at launch. Perhaps I answered my own question, though can anyone confirm this? Good deal, however if current arcade bundles come with a 512 MB memory card, do they still give you the hdd/memory card?
Games of 09
- Mass Effect 2 (first game not out on PS3 nor announced)
- Alan Wake
- Halo 3: Recon (not DLC btw. you have to buy it retail to play it)
- Ninety-Nine Nights 2
- Ninja Blade
- All Points Bulletin
- Halo Wars (not coming to PC, designed for 360 controller)
- 2 days to Vegas (Timed exclusive for PC and 360 and sweet if you own either. PS3 might receive an enhanced version a la Alone in the Dark)

I would have nightmares of burn in if I had any console hooked up to a plasma screen. Good deal, wrong type of tv to bundle with a console. The 32" LCD screen deal is pretty good however they should have an option of larger screen to choose from. Would't hurt.
@ Meijer. What is a Meijer you ask? Walmart type of store found in the Midwest, most notably in Michigan.
I haven't seen any of the PSP 3000 w/ 4gig memory stick but found the bundle. There was only one left! Lucky whoever happens to snatch it up.
Thanks :-) I'll have to give Amazon a try. Good deal!
It isn't the most intuitive scrolling through your downloads menu, but it works fine. It will probably be addressed after the next firmware update and be forgotten. Its amazing how many items you end up downloading from PSN. My list is nearing 100 though it doesn't feel like I downloaded that much. Back on topic, a course in deep breathing exercises is needed for loot-ninja dude. Controllers are way too expensive to throw around because your angry. Also, has anyone noticed the file sizes of Q...
Does anyone know if the loading times are sped up? Also, what is the max size memory stick you can use with the psp? The PSP 3000 has the 4gig bundled in but didn't know if that was the max. Regardless, the PSN store on the PSP comes at the right time, with the holidays around the corner.
Batman and Ironman are two blu-ray movies I might be forced to buy. I'm still a little off put by the price but it should be worth it. Also, a digital copy is included. Sweet. Lastly, the title should read: Warner announces 3 versions of "Dark Knight" blu-ray. The highdefdigest forums say that there is a single disc version for $29.99 as well. Link to forums:
I don't understand what the problem is. I suppose the same arguement about Xbox Live not being free is applicable; which I pay for. In my humble opinion $3 is a small price to pay. Think about it this way: "exclusive" demos are used by print magazines to sell copies. Why can't a downloadable mag do the same? It costs time and money to make demos. The return investment on a demo might not be worth it for many publishers. By having a Qore demo and preview, greater interest might be ge...
I wonder who removed it...? lol. I hope a lawsuit is in order. Dirty pirates. Please sign onto Xbox Live and get what you deserve.
If we are in the closed beta currently, when it becomes open, are we able to keep everything we created? Uncharted bar was pretty sweet btw.
Being a multi-console owner I try to get the version that is the best value. it doesn't matter which console. If Call of Duty 5 for the Wii is better than the 360 and PS3 version (game play wise) I will get it for that. I never liked Tomb Raider personally, but DLC for Mirror's Edge will probably convince me to get the PS3 version.
Doesn't mean there is a correlation. Home is free. Regardless of whether it is offered in beta form to Qore annual subscribers is not a big deal. Home is constantly getting updated and the final version will be a lot better. I'm interested to see if the beta expires or beta testers will receive an update for the "final" version; and if so whether all our individual content is saved.
First of all, joystiq never finished the campaign nor was close to finishing it if you compare their preview to gamespy.com. Quote: "All told, we got really far in our roughly six hours of play." Either they are lying and trying to get hits, or played it on the easiest difficulty. Regardless, read the gamespy preview of the game. Their preview is much more about the experience and less about the story aspect. More informative in my opinion. For all the haters, gamespy says the campa...
The DSi is a waste unless you want to do homebrew and/or play import games.
Reasons to not buy the DSi:
1. The camera is cheap; at .3 megapixels (VGA quality). Nintendo must have purchased all the cell phone cameras from 5 years ago. Proves the big "N" is cheap.
2. Doesn't not play MP3's. Self explanitory why this sucks.
3. The screen is larger but has the same number of pixels as DS light. Larger size pixels look like crap on most...
You can't get much more generic than a depiction of an apple. What does an apple look like? More specifically, what does an apple with a "bite" in the side look like? The school doesn't use this representation nor the same shape of Apple's apple. If this wins in court it could set a precedent. I hope this doesn't happen.
I was really looking forward to this game on Xbox. However, after 6 months of AoC being out on the PC...and no announcement, I gave up hope. This "announcement" pretty much signals the death of the game. Too bad its failing on the PC. For what it is worth, I think that AoC does a lot of things right but suffers from extreme lack of polish. Personally, I don't think MMO's on consoles is a good market in general. Getting around the whole, "I have to pay monthly" idea is too ...
My memory is better than I thought...yay :-p Thanks for confirming that. I bet there are some people who mistakingly think they will get a $20 hdd with a new arcade purchase. M-soft should clarify who is eligible. Sweet deal, though its hard to believe that some people with 3 year old arcades don't have a memory unit...or a 64 MB one at that. The percentage of people that actually qualify won't be a huge number. A good deal nonetheless.
