Could Konami perhaps patch the game so there is no longer a Konami login system. I really wanted to like MGO. It looks great, plays as as good as Socom (in my opinion), and IS Metal Gear 4 online. Perhaps they will learn their lesson when Metal Gear 5 comes out.
I'm sorry but Fable II does not look good in HD. It has appealing art direction but in general has poor textures, and low poly NPCs and enemies. I am not saying the game doesn't have a unique look and is non pleasing to the eyes...just not in an HD way:-p

On topic: I think you find bias regardless of what shop you go to. Perhaps Gamestop is biased against PS3, however is this always the case? No. The reason there are greater numbers of Xbox posters for games is that Microsoft throws more money into advertising. Personally, I would like to see more advertising for the Wii and PS3. You never know...I might have purchased Call of Duty 5 for Wii if I saw a commercial for it. jk
excellent pacing and fun. at first i felt it was a little short; until I considered the co-op campaign. This game will have legs for me. I think they nailed the controls and online especially.

and was disappointed to hear it was only 6 hours. I think the time trials will perhaps double the time but it isn't enough for my gaming dollars. I am waiting for the game to come down to at least $40. If EA releases some meaningful DLC I will probably play more. I love the concept, the art direction and the music. Give me more!
I'm surprised people didn't acknowledge this sooner. I kept my mouth quiet when the NPD results came out but its good that ripten is setting the record straight. Selling 200,000 in 4 days is not selling poor. The NPD doesn't track sales in Europe either. Little Big Planet will sell at least 2 million. It would be a shame otherwise, as more people than not would be missing out.
I'm inclined to agree. I like Fable II but it isn't the experience I was hoping for. For me the game has become a "fetch me" game where I run around and grab expressions, property, and legendary armor. I already reached the point in the story arc where I couldn't go back. If you were to ask the majority of hardcore gamers how often they play, it would dwarf the sample that was questioned. Although I can't say I play every day, it averages out to about 2 hours a day. I will take you up on your "bet". In L4D (demo) there are 5 super zombies. Every encounter with a super zombie was in a different location and with a different super zombie. What I don't agree with is equating car sales and home sales with video games. It doesn't work like that. Cars and homes are durable goods. Video games are disposable. The difference between the two is that one holds its value (and increases in the case of homes) and the other doesn't. If you remove used game sales, games get cheaper. With every game release the publisher factors how many games will sell and the percentage of which will end up in the used retail market in 6 months. The more incentive to hold onto the game and prevent second hand sales, the more it can be assured that people will actually give credit to the developers/publishers and purchase new.

Destroy used game sales and games will be cheaper for all. Also, without used game sales, Gamestop will go out of business or wise up and sell games for cheaper. if you want to play the 2D version of Mirror's Edge play Little Big Planet. There are 2 amazing levels up on the servers already. Hopefully, the moderators won't remove the content.
