I don't agree with the list. MGS4 should be much higher. I thought it was better than the hype machine GTA4. Also, LBP should be higher than Mirror's Edge, even though its inclusion I thought was appropriate. I definitely would have included Gears of War 2. I also think that Resistance 2 was better than a number 10. For the sake of being subjective, here is my list:

Chronicles of Riddick and The Witcher are much higher on my list than some of the other games mentioned. Looking forward to some more Haloz and Resident Evil 5. Not sure which version I will end up getting being as how many of the games listed are multiplatform.

A PS2. Sometimes I wish I had held off on "next" gen. I missed out on so many last gen classics. Still need to get through Ico, God of War, Shadow of Colossus, among others. If you haven't played the classics, wait a bit before you get the reboots and new ones.
With that said, I think it is important to have a PS3 AND 360 handy. You get the best multi-console games and exclusives! Also, do yourself a favor and don't get a Wii. Its very good at collecting dust; not much ...

Looking forward to Street Fighter HD. I am hoping they will add trophies at some point. I would have purchased Bionic Commando already if it had them. Regardless, I cannot suffer the 360 D-pad and sans trophies is OK with me.
if you don't want to sell any XBLA games, release them at a price of $20 and see how many people purchase them. People don't see the value in a price greater than $15, otherwise there wouldn't be a public outcry when games even approach that price. Braid and Penny Arcade are good examples of this. Penny Arcade II was release for $15 instead of $20 which the prequel released @.

They aren't "cool" in the traditional sense, however they are an avatar of your person. They get the job done in party/social type games. Probably not featuring my avatar as my gamerpic. It is nice to have a different perspective when viewing which friends are online and which aren't. I don't have a problem with them as they give everyone their own personality. Looks to be almost gold and ready to go. I had to recreate my avatar again and download all areas that I previously downloaded. Not sure what thats about, but the experience was much better.
I doubt the game will be on Live on Wed. Pricing hasn't even been announced; usually this is a precursor to finding out the release date and not the other way around. If it is on Live, cool. I'm waiting for it on PSN however. Can't afford a Hori arcade stick and won't play on a 360 pad.

Why not talk about any of the positives? It is one thing to acknowledge there are faults to a game and another to only list faults. We get it, you don't like the game. It is hard to not find something of value in R2. Why not talk about the cooperative mode or competitive? The single player campaign was not especially long but it was a thriller. I've never played a MMO before and one set in the Halo universe might have appealed to me. Perhaps this gen isn't ideal for MMO's in general. Here is hoping that the title is revived with updated graphics for the Xbox successor...make it a FPSMMO as well:-p
Too bad I can't see the comparison. Regardless, I will get the version most of my friends are using. I played COD4 on 360 so I'm hesitant to jump ship for World at War. I love the R2 controls so I'm curious if they are as smooth for the Call of Duty games. PS3 is amassing quite the catalog of shooters; once the undisputed 360 genre. I'm not complaining btw.

Not fair, you completely changed your comment. Your original comment spoke about how you were going to get L4D on your PC rather than 360...because it was the superior version. Why did you change your comment and decide you want it on PS3 instead of your PC? Sounds fishy to me.
I haven't heard the opposite was true, however both version are almost identical. The PC will always have a slight graphical advantage in resolution but the developers kept it even feature wise. Personally, I will never choose keyboard and mouse over controller.
If your planing on getting it for the PC, consider getting the $99 dollar ultra Valve deal. It has every Valve game ever made.
Got to love what creative minds can do on the PSN. It makes you wonder why DL only doesn't sell as well as retail. I wish this wasn't the case because I would love to see more games like Trine. Hopefully, everyone supports this game with an instant download.
