Granted, every individual can create their own avatar to their hearts content...however, the preset options that are black don't look "right". Skin color is one thing, facial characteristics are another. If you click on the link and look at the preset character creation you will know what I mean. I've watched various videos in which other racial/ethnic groups looked fine, but others didn't. The videos I speak of can be found on the PSN if your curious. Look out for the black dude wi...
I am excited for Home and check my email daily for a beta invite...however I'm a little concerned with one aspect, although superficial. I am not black but the avatars which are black...look weird. They don't have black facial features at all and the skin tone looks off. Of all the previews I've watch of Home, that was the one thing that stuck out. Does anyone else think similarly? I'm not knocking Home, just making an observation that some people might think is important. No one else has bro...
Excellent response. I actually agree although grudgingly. Its the cool thing to do to hate on Nintendo and I'm guilty of it. My take: Nintendo has zero incentive to release hard core games for reason of past experience. Wii fit sells (and continues to) on account it is popular with the casual crowd. Regardless of the games merits or any other casual game, Nintendo are selling to the masses. They know how to sell and market their own games. Wii music...looks like a Fisher Price game...but will...
I lol at your avatar pic. On topic, I agree with your point on budget vs value. The way I look at it is that the Xbox and PS2 dropped to $200 and sold the most at that price point. I don't think $200 bones is budget yet but a good value. A good example of budget priced console is the Gamecube at $100 dollars...not too many people saw the console as a value at that point. I might buy one (a 360) to replace my current and get HDMI. Also, for everyone doubting $200 as the magical price point...I...
I think your a little confused. Explain how you come to the conclusion, the game has "no innovation" with a 29 second cutscene. Also... Microsoft is publishing the game...not developing it. FROM software is responsible for development. Innovation in Ninja Blade has nothing to do with whom you accuse has none. How about you innovate with your thought process and conclusions a little bit, k? Its hard not to respond to a weak argument.
If the characters in the game could speak, they might have a similar conversation judging from the in game humor. I love the game. If anyone has the game and wants to link up, my gamer tag is blindfromthesun. Peace.
Depending on who you ask, GeOW PC was not a broken experience.Your "I'll pirate it" attitude is exactly why publishers/developers are nervous to release games on PC that aren't subscription based. If the same developers make #2, it is a pretty poor reason to pirate regardless. It doesn't matter how bad the game is, its wrong, plain and simple. Cavalier attitudes about pirating explain why there aren't more PC releases. There should be many more. I wouldn't be surprised if GTA4 PC is...
I've seldom had a problem with COD4, Halo 3 or GTAIV online. Dedicated XBL servers are in many ways superior but not to the extent fanboy's would have you believe. Judging by the millions of users on Xbox Live everyday...I don't think there is a huge problem. If there was, no one would game on Xbox live. Newly released games should have dedicated servers to counter the flood of people jumping online. However, they aren't needed after too long and become a greater cost to maintain. Once a game...
Hopefully the restrictions won't last or will be refined (higher than 1000 GB). Digital distribution is going to happen at some point and the last thing we need is a data cap. It is more beneficial to single out the major abusers of data bandwidth. Spammers and pirates in particular...
Also the price just doesn't feel right. The tech may warrant the price tag, but the functionality doesn't match the price. A bluetooth keyboard seems much more practical. Faster input/typing speed and much less awkward to use (as it would seem). A bluetooth keyboard is more expensive but you can use it with your computer and PS3 with better result.
about battery life and ram specs. I have the PSP 2000 (silver)and would get a 3000 if that meant it was sufficiently upgraded (outside of built in mic and Home button). Otherwise I'd get one...
Second life was/is about wasting your life.
As long as I can use M-soft Office for school, there shouldn't be any problems. Also, how powerful is the Atom processor? I have an AMD Athalon 64 4600 w/ an integrated graphics card. I have never used the PC for games so it wouldn't be a big deal if the Atom isn't as powerful. I'm most interested in saving green. Anyone have an estimate how much electricity I use on my current rig? Also, would I be able to play any mid to high end range games with a good graphics card? Sorry if I have too ma...
Not everyone has AT&T (or other worldwide carriers of iphone) so I doubt the iphone can break into mass market and grab psp quality games. Also, how is a touch screen viable as an input/control device? I don't see the iphone touching the market share the psp and ds own.
After 700,000 copies of Assassin's Creed were pirated you have to wonder why anyone is releasing PC games to big box retail. This game should be at the top of the list for most wanted pirated PC game.
GeOW 2. The last one has sold almost 5 million copies. Yay, I love flame wars! I'm getting both...don't tell the fanboys:-P
I for one am NOT looking forward to avatars. With that said, avatars are not a persistent social interaction "game" like Second Life or Home. I'm more interested in playing games I guess...
Essentially, your denying a significant part of your fan base access to additional content. This doesn't make any sense unless you factor in "someone" funding the DLC (cough Microsoft). With that said, I think I know which version to buy. 360. If Sony wants me to buy their version, I suggest they start throwing some money around.
is that Unreal engine 3 is STILL useful as a graphics engine. Not that its too old and can't create graphically impressive games anymore. I don't really understand the demo if it wasn't for showing off purposes by Epic...however some of the shots weren't all that good. It looked like the UE3 was showing off certain aspects within certain shots. The characters sometimes looked blurry with poor textures.
Why do they always compare Conduit to a 360 game? Its not like it matters but its worth giving it a thought. First party games on both consoles are leaps and bounds above this game. I believe they should compare this game to first generation software on either console. I just think its curious that PS3 games are not being compared to Conduit when Xbox 360/PS3 graphics are more or less equal to one another. Don't hate.
