I don't get why there is a question. The violent games have MA ratings, and parents should not be idiots about why there are those ratings. Unless they don't care that their kids are growing up with f*cked up brains.
Heck, they can just keep this going on in development forever. Entire new car model lines are created & become obsolete during the time they are making this game. Some of the models that were new when they started have to now be in the classic car list.
These guys really suck at finishing a project. I am one of the biggest procrastinators of all time, so I'd love to work for a company like this that never really finishes anything. ;-)
I am thinking some of the Twisted Metal hints have been bait to guage public interest before even deciding to commit to a project like that.

Interesting to me that these niche type games that are not tied to blockbuster franchises called GTA, Call of Duty, etc. sell over a million copies...then there are articles about how the games don't sell.
They should ask, how come they are not blockbuster sellers? Well, that is because they are not GTA, Call of Duty, Madden, etc.
As far as the tired Blu Ray excuse...keep in mind that this is current technology now, not next gen. People that bag on that don't sou...
Wii is specific to a certain type of demographic, and style of game play. It doesn't suck for their targeted audience.
It isn;t the same type of audience & game play as 360/PS3, but there will be crossover for the total game addicts who want to play all kinds of games.
Curius if issues with Fallout 3 programming is fixed on the PS3 platform if any new versions come out. There was something fundamentally wrong with that game, whereas the further along you got, and size of save file kept increasing, the game would be prone to lock ups & crashes more & more.

Cell processor technology. If a programmer knows what he is doing, they can exploit the cell to have more simultaneous things happening without frame rate suffering.

I liked the game though, for the game play. Having an actual story that progresses in the next one would definately make the game more interesting.
Not intersted in GTA4 add ons this late in the game. But I do have to say, exclusive add on content for multiplatform games is really stupid. All it does is create bad vibes in the gaming community, regardless what system you are talking about.
Twisted Metal next gen..day one purchase for me. We have a big gaping hole in game genres that Twisted Metal used to fill on the last gen system.
Can't wait to do battle against Minion & Sweet Tooth.

Personally I am just glad their is competition. It's always a win for consumers when companies are battling for our purchases. Products don't improve much, & prices don't drop without this competition. The fanboys don't get this concept, even if they do benefit from this reality.
