Okay, so I am having trouble wrapping my head around what is happening here. The way I understand it is that the law prohibits manipulation of items obtained via loot boxes using items obtained from another loot box without informing the customer. That gacha system sounds too diabolical for my brain to understand, so I must be interpreting it incorrectly.
Someone who understands this, please clarify.
While I haven't played Silk Song as I just picked up Hollow Knight, I do think they need to modernize the difficulty with Silk Song.
The main thing I see that frustrates players about this game is that when you die to a boss, you have to go through the entire level again. Even From Software games put a bonfire right before the boss room so you can challenge the boss almost immediately after failing.

Because they watch and enjoy movies. It is easy to call for the ban of something when you will not be impacted.
Why do we keep coming back here? The service has been around for nearly a decade. If it was this massive failure, Microsoft would have pulled the plug a long time ago and we would not see so many devs put their games on the service each month. On the contrary, they have increased their investment in the service at a time they are watching every penny that is being spent.
Just look at how the widely successful Hollow Knight Silksong is doing even though it launched into game...
I was rooting for this game. I remember seeing it years ago and was improved by the visuals and action gameplay. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball in other areas that would make this a complete package.
I loved Astro Bot and currently have it at 100% complete. If they are going to do additional updates to the game, I want them to shift their focus to new creative levels and less of these challenge levels. That last one nearly had me going mad.
Lower price equals more people get to enjoy it. This developer wants to spread the fun.
I had a great time with final fantasy 16. I completed all the quests, bounties and unlocked all the ekon abilities. I only need to play through the game on Final fantasy difficulty to unlock the platinum trophy.

I wasn't following this game but I just checked the announcement trailer and the game looks amazing. Like a breath of fresh air from all the military shooters and it is in 3rd person. Not 1st person like the original Turok games. I will pick this up at some point.

That is a tired talking point based on no facts. The Xbox Series S is not holding the generation back. How can any well thinking person say this when multiplatform publishers are still making games for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One? That is the main thing that is holding this generation back. The best live service games are the ones that are 100% unique and fun, and they shouldn't be pitched to players as live service games. It would be better if those games were marketed as games that will continue to receive quality updates over a few years. That sounds much better to the player than "live service" because it feels less like you are trying to extract money from the player versus extending the support of the game.

It had a decent launch. The biggest games are Mario kart world and Donkey Kong Bananza. More people were able to get the console compared to recent console launches.
I personally don't think I will buy one because of their anti consumer practices. I even heard a guy got banned for buying a used game. It seems if you buy a game that was dumped by the previous owner, Nintendo has some record of it and will ban your Switch 2 until you can prove to them you bought the game...
This is a multiplatform release. Did they say the demo was being run from an Xbox console or is this a nothing burger?
Why didn't they release a fully current gen COD? This is the 5th year in the generation, and they are still making cross gen games. Battlefield 6 looks a generation ahead with all the destruction on screen.
I actually played this game when it was added to ps plus. It was a 7/10 experience. If I played it at launch when it was 30 fps i would give it a 6/10.

The last 5 years have not been good to us. The digital ps5 increased by $100 since launch and the disk version increased by $50.
If we were following the same rules as before 2020, the disk based PS5 would be $300 to $350 when on sale while the digital version would be $200 to $250.
This is a step in the right direction when it comes to cosmetics. Let us see more collaboration between other games as long as it stays within reason. For example, they can collaborate with Halo, Doom and other fps where the main character where's a full body suit.
Also bring in more creative weapons instead of the regular guns we have in irl. A collaboration with Halo opens up many opportunities with some unique weapons of all types.
Not only should it be more affordable, they should also increase their global coverage map. Playstation Cloud service and Geforce now have less restrictions when it comes to supported countries compared to xCloud.
