You should make your decision on whether you liked Returnal or not.
If I was to make a recommendation, if you have never played returnal, do not buy this game at full price, especially if you are not used to bullet hell or rogue like games. On the other hand, If you loved Returnal then don't hesitate to make that purchase and enjoy your weekend.

Nixxis only has about 90 employees. Let's go high and say each person on the payroll makes $200k per year; payroll would only be $18M. I believe the development time to port a game from PlayStation to PC is only about a year, so unless Sony is giving out Bentleys and 5 bedroom houses to each employee with payroll, they should be making a sizable profit.
I do not support this acquisition. Disney has already tried running a gaming division and they shut down Disney Interactive in 2016. Nothing good will come from them buying Epic games as much of the industry relies on Epic games as they are now.
I just downloaded it on my phone a few weeks ago and the framerate isn't bad if you set it to 60hz. I suspect the switch 2 version should fair better interms of performance.
The game has received many quality of life updates since the PS4 days and receives content drops several times per year. The best part is that it is not pay to win.
It is a great way to unwind, but you will need to be active in the community to play this game. Most of the mechanics are explained by youtubers, forum posts and wiki pages.
