You know the reason they are adding multiplayer is because they want more sales. Most of the time when people go into a game store and can only purchase one new game with their budget, they would most likely choose the one that they can get the most out of. Those games are usually the ones that have multiplayer or a really long campaign. I too am guilty of doing this.

you guys are throwing what Reggie meant out of context. What he meant was that they don't care what direction their competitors are going could be cable box, 3d, home entertainment etc. What they at nintendo is interesting in giving an experience to their fans that is new, fun and interesting.
We know Microsoft will be showing something because nintendo is set to launch it's new console this year and we shouldn't underestimate it. Showing a console in 2013 and launching in 2014 is giving nintendo a 2 year head start and possibly giving Microsoft a one year head start again leaving Sony in an unfavorable position again next gen.

Wish they showed the actual sales numbers for these games because this alone doesn't tell us anything as to the state of PC gaming.
If they showed the sales numbers for those games and it turns out that the sales are in the hundreds of thousands like on the consoles then the developers would have no excuse not to include a PC version with all their multiplatform releases.

i hope they treat this remake with respect by using the ff13 engine and not just upscale the textures like what Sony does with their remakes.
That said i would have rather had them remake something they released on the ps1 like ff7, ff8 or ff9 because i believe that the graphics on those are so bad compared to today's standards that many gamers would find them hard to play based on that barrier alone.
