I recently purchased a series X and I do find game pass in it's current form an amazing deal for gamers but the lack of big first party releases is noticable. 2023 will be a critical year for Xbox. I know bathesda is set to release starfield but want to see games from some of the many studios that were aquired. When the Halo infinite delayed it's road map and canceled campaign co-op, gamers called for 343 to be removed from the Halo brand. If 2023 ends up being a dud, people may start...

You speak the truth. There are so many great games to play right now that I don't even have enough time to clear out my backlog.

Not the shooters. Fps evolved at COD MW came out and 3rd person shooters also changed after Gears of War.

PS2 was really a great console. I am not sure if it was the golden era as I can't decide between the 7th or 8th generation.

The PS2 had the best racers such as NFS underground 1&2 as well as most wanted 2005. Burnout 3 and 4. The DBZ Budokai and Tenkaichi series. FF10 and 11. Kingdom hearts 1&2. Zone of enders and a slew of RPGs.

The 7th gen had cod mw1,2 and 3. Portal 1&2, left 4 dead 1&2, bioshock 1,2 and infinite, the elder scrolls...

I strongly disagree when you say this benefits no one but Microsoft. As a consumer, if this deal goes through, I will be able to play the next call of duty and diablo for the price of one month of Xbox game pass. If you don't mind paying full $60-$70 for your games at launch then that is ok but for us who usually wait a year for the game to fall in price then this is an attractive option.

Sony will survive without Activision and this deal needs to go through.

People will always spend money on entertainment especially during hard economic times to stay sane.

Yes I heard there was an upgraded version so I stopped playing. When I get a change to play the remastered version I will return to it

If this is true then it is a good month. I didn't complete the first Neo but let's see if I can get further in the second game.

I have only recently owned an Xbox console so idk how important Fable is to the Xbox fanbase. If it gets released within the next 2 years, or if Microsoft can get someone to remake the originals that were critically acclaimed, I will give it a try. I wish it success

I don't usually defend the Xbox series S but not even one developer on this article can reference a time when they had to avoid using a next gen feature or make compromises to accommodate the Xbox Series S. Some developers like Rocksteady are blaming the series S for their failings even though RTX 3090s are having trouble playing Gotham Knights at 4k 60 fps.

Until they can give clear examples on how the series S is holding back next gen games, it will not be taken serio...

If the graphics were out of this world then it will be a little more palatable but I don't think co-op is enough to explain a locked 30 fps.

Did they announce the graphic options that will be available at launch?

It seems most of the stock was focussed in the US.

What I don't understand is that reviewers were saying that gamers shouldn't buy the 3090 but for some reason I don't hear the same about the 4090. This might be why NVIDIA launched the 4090 first.

I know many of us would like to know how much of that figure is profit as Microsoft keeps info about the Xbox Division a secret. If we can guess that Xbox game pass has about 100 games and Microsoft pays out an average of 1 million per game then it would mean a little over 100 million is being spent to acquire games to the service and the rest is profit. If this is close to what is actually happening then I can see why they are so invested in the service and these large acquisitions. If anyon...

I agree with the article that there aren't many current gen only games but I would still recommend purchasing a current gen system for the quality of life improvements. If you have a multiplayer game you enjoy playing daily on PS4 then chances are it has an upgraded version on current gen systems with faster loading times, better framerates and resolution. After playing so many games at 60 fps, I cannot go back to 30 fps especially if it is an action game. I recently played uncharted 4 at...

After playing on a PC since I was a teenager, it is sad to learn that nvidia has pushed me out with the pricing of their 40 series cards. $900 for the entry level card and idk if you are trolling but the rtx 8000 is upwards of $2700 on ebay. Right now a console is the more economical choice because it will have all the latest games at a much lower entry price and you can do emulation on the xbox series consoles without any mods or jailbreak.

It's time to move on. I know the PS5 had a shortage but how many person's who are actively trying to get a PS5 can't get one at this point. You can sign up for the invite program on Amazon. That is how I got my series X and Sony emailed me a few days ago about getting a PS5 even though I already bought one from playstation direct. It's a shame spending so much on next gen only to play upscaled PS4 games. We want to see games that are larger in scope that can only be possible o...

The gameplay for halo infinite multiplayer is actually good and it does feel like a modern Halo game. This makes it easy to understand why it received a positive reception at launch. The content drought however, is a killer for most live service games. Idk for sure if it is the engine that is stifling creativity over there but Microsoft should have made a more significant investment in this area. Based on historical records, if the devs have a hard time using the tools then the work output wi...

Interested in Hot wheels plays since there is a shortage of arcade racers in the recent years on playstation. Played a little of super hot when it was on ps now. Had a great time.
