Let us see how well vr works out for Apple.
That statement is false. Many of the features we enjoy in console gaming today were innovations and concepts introduced by the Xbox.
Xbox live being the first fully featured console online service. There are also some long time features of this service that were recently implemented on playstation such as parental control and changing the gamertag.
Achievements.
Xbox live also popularized the concept of dlc even though this was first o...
A more cynical part of me is starting to believe that Phil Spencer is telling the truth and they wanted the console version to be 30fps by design then resell a 60 fps version at a later date.
We all saw what selling multiple versions of Skyrim did for their finances.
As it should be
While there is potential that Sony can have an awesome 2024, some of the titles you listed have not been officially announced as yet or have no release dates. This is the main reason most persons found the PlayStation showcase disappointing. We all know Sony is working on some amazing games but they are keeping their cards too close to the chest.
When this game releases it must be obvious to the player that it had to be 30 fps because the graphics are not convincing enough.
Also looking at the minimum and recommend specs on PC, I believe it absolutely could have been 60 fps on the series X. Maybe if enough reviews and players bash the low framerate we will see a change on the Xbox side.
This is not a huge concern. I would be shocked if persons are still using hard drives instead of SSDs. If you can afford to have a 30 series or higher GPU then it is reasonable to think you would also have a gen 3 or 4 NVMe in your build as well.
it seems the best engineers are already hired by Sony.
This is unacceptable. Just like how Xbox mandates that any game being released on series X must also have a series S version, they need to mandate that all first party games must launch with a 60 FPS mode on series X. I don't care if the resolution is 1080P, it must favor performance.
I remember playing fidelity mode on some games and when I switched to performance mode, it felt like a different game. The smoother animation and rendering made the game feel more graphic...
If someone told me this was a ps4 and Xbox one game, I would believe them. I was expecting it to look close to the CGI trailer we saw 3 years ago.
I just finished playing Burning Shores and now I am playing through God of War Ragnarök. The visuals of those games look a generation ahead of this. I will still wait to see more of this game, but it doesn't look that far graphically from the Outerworlds which came out 4 years ago.
I am not sure I can recommend you do this. Cyberpunk 2077 is not a short game. If you are interested in finding all the secrets and completing all the side quests, it is going to take more than 60 hours. While I do agree that waiting for the complete edition is the best deal, we don't know how years in the future that will be. It is possible you may be waiting until the end of this current generation.
Add PC support and I will buy it at its current price.
The main selling point I see with this is the screen size and the more ergonomic design compared to the alternative. The price is what is key and on the high end, I don't think it should cost more than $150.
This is a good find. I doubt God of war will be anywhere near this price during the sale.
The showcase was disappointing. Not because the games shown were bad but because we were expecting more from Sony first party.
The games shown that I am most excited for are ff16, Dragons Dogma 2 and Spiderman 2. Also if Sony is serious about VR why wasn't half life Alex there?
I don't know where this negative spin is coming from. With the updated prices outlined in the article, Brazilians will still end up paying almost $5 less than what their US counterparts pay for a monthly subscription.
Also, all subscription services will increase their prices at some point, and we have many examples. Disney plus, Netflix, HBO max, PS plus and Xbox live have all increased their prices in the recent years.
I think or hope I am at the second half of the game as it is now daytime in the first level and the place looks like ruins in the Amazon. I will give the game another try when I feel motivated enough.
@everyone who replied. The CMA remedy for this acquisition disincentives anyone from acquiring any developer, publisher or service that offers games or services to Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft or anyone who competes in that space if their intension is to make anything exclusive. The acquired company must operate in the same capacity as it did prior to the acquisition or merger. This means no Square Enix, Capcom, Sega, Ubisoft, EA etc. can be acquired unless the intention is for that company to r...
There is fun to be had with Returnal and it is a very challenging game that rewards perfection. I haven't completed it as yet and I would not recommend anyone pay full price for this game.
It is simply not for everyone especially when there are plenty of other great PS5 games out there. The problems I have with it is that the story is cryptic and it is a rouge like not a souls game. If you die and don't have any special items in your inventory to give you a second c...
These 2 companies have too much influence over each other.
