I agree that it would be great if Sony could release something equivalent. Based on my gaming habits, I find that I usually never revisit a game that I have already completed once. This is impressive work as I am not aware of any vita emulators on the PC as yet.
I believe the install base between the 2 is over 20 million. It's not that the amount of sold consoles is small, it's just that the demand is high and it gives the perception that not many people have them.
Guys I think the game has redeemed itself in terms of performance. Justed playing it for the first time and no crashes or game breaking bugs. Just be careful of your time when playing. I wanted to play for about 2 hours last night and when I checked the time after my session it was 3:30 am. Idk what happened. I've been playing it for the first time for a few hours now and I'm enjoying myself. I noticed 3 bugs so far but none were game breaking. I saw the T animation bug once during the tutorial but the game a seems to be able to detect when a bug occurs then it will automatically correct the bug. Guys take whatever Jim Ryan says about Bungie being independent and multiplatform with a grain of salt. He has a history of promising one thing then providing another. Destiny 2 will more than likely remain multiplatform on it's existing systems but future titles will be exclusive to Playstation and PC.
While this is a great way to earn money from a title that has stopped selling, I don't see how it will benefit Sony in the long run when they place their system selling exclusives on another platform.
January offering will be one of the best months in ps plus history. This is a very strong start for 2022 and the value of January alone covered the cost of my annual subscription.
Not a bad month
I would like the basics to be added above all else. A web browser that is comparable to what you will find on the Xbox series consoles which allow you to play cames from there, a media player that can support various file formats, an activities tab to let me see what my friends are up to, the support for ds4 controllers on PS5 games, some form of the quick resume feature and some form of boost mode for backward compatible games without developer input.
That is just one retail chain albeit a major one. If you are in Japan and want an Xbox, there are still options available. The decision to drop the console was made by a loss of confidence in the Xbox brand and not because of any actual data. They just thought that game pass would give customers one less reason to purchase an Xbox, when the sales were already low.

Microsoft used to do this for game pass. It's a great way to reach the persons who are for some reason holding off buying the subscription. I wish they offered something like this for ps now though.
I remember when gaming channels were trying to see what specs matches the ps5 in terms of performance and some came to the conclusion that with the multi platform titles that came out then, it was comparable to the RTX2070.

That is an irresponsible comment to make. Had this been left alone, we may not have found out about it until long after Sony closes PSN for ps4. It is thanks to the outcry that Sony patched this before it became a problem. In the end, gamers won.
I have played several games that scored less than 80 on Metacritic and are better than some 85 plus games. To name a few:
Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen
Wizard of Legend
Sonic Generations
Xmen: Origins Wolverine
Megaman Battle Network 3
The point here is that professional gaming critics are not always right and that way of thinking will cause you to miss out on some of the criminally underrated games.
Sony does not need a gamepass killer but having something comparable would be nice. If Sony offered backwards compatibility for PS3, PS2 and PS1 titles on PS5, they could offer those backward compatible titles as downloads through ps now. I am 100% sure ps now subscriptions would increase significantly if they just made the PS5 offer backward compatibility further than the PS4 and we know it can be done.
This was a bad deal for Square Enix because they upset alot of Fans of the new tomb raider game by locking out the ps4 fan base for a year. This move also severely harmed the potential growth of the rebooted franchise as by the time the game made it to playstation, the initial hype was gone and it would have sold more on that platform compared to Xbox.

With so many great games to play these days I haven't gotten a chance to play any of quantic dream games even though I own heavy rain, beyond 2 souls and Detroit. Unless you use gaming as your only entertainment medium, it will be very difficult to play every great game especially on playstation consoles.
