If they have 15 million consoles available to sell, it sounds good on paper until you learn that Sony sold approximately 17 million PS5s in the first year and it still had a severe shortage.
In an interview I watched yesterday, Nintendo's president mentioned that there are currently 120 MM active switch consoles.

I read an article recently that Vietnam is now offering to remove all tarrifts on US goods in exchange for the same on their goods. If the current administration accepts those terms then Nintendo can move on from this issue and work on the other problems with the Switch 2.
Sony consoles are made in Japan and China. While Xbox is primarily made in China.
Japan was hit with a 24% tarrif on all impoints while China was hit with a 54% which is high but it includes the tarrifts from before.

Nintendo consoles are manufactured in Vietnam. Yesterday, the US President announced a 46% tarrift on goods imported from Vietnam.
If we do the math, the switch 2 console was announced at $450 and the new tarrifts will take that price to $657. Of course that is the based on the cost the consumer has to pay but realistically, the tarrifts would be 46% of what the retailers pay when they buy the consoles from Nintendo. I don't understand your comment. Cyberpunk 2077 runs at 1080p 60 FPS on the series S in performance mode and 1440p 30 fps in quality mode.
The series S is more powerful than the majority of the handhelds on the market because it has access to more power while the handhelds have to be constrained to preserve battery life.
We see this happen every time. When a company gets a highly successful generation, they let their hubris get the better of them the next generation. This is why competition is important.

I forgot about that beta app since you can view and interact with the Gamepass catalog from the Xbox app. I didn't realize it was still around as it would have been redundant.
Never really used it just like the PlayStation app. Sure, I can browse the catalog and set things to download on my console but since I hardly leave the consoles on when not in use to conserve energy. So that feature is useless.
I prefer they made the social features more accessible on the consoles rather than force us to use a mobile app.
