Could not agree with you more. She was not only the most annoying character in the game, but in - any - game - ever - to me. I share this guy's opinion: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Vanille was literally the worst character in any game of all time. She was the singular reason I could not finish FF13. I'll just leave this here as evidence: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I do not agree with your assessment of the multiplayer in Titanfall 2. Best multiplayer I've played in forever and other than everyone using Tone as their titan, it feels quite balanced. It's been a long time since there was a FPS multiplayer that I actually feel the urge to play without my friends.
@Summons75 The only thing that's true about your statement is that it got great sales. The only reason it got great sales is because it had tons of hype as a new Final Fantasy game and none had disappointed to this degree before. It did not get great reviews. It's sitting at a 82/83 on Metacritic, and that's with people scared to give a Final Fantasy game low reviews. If the game had a different title, I guarantee that score would be lower, and that's already like 10 points l...
What? Are you talking about Titanfall 2? I feel like you're way off base here!
-There's plenty of customization - about the same as in a standard CoD game - much more than TF1.
-There's like 10 mp maps - that's also sadly pretty standard today, but remember all map dlc is free, which is not standard
-There was a highly upvoted reddit thread a little bit ago complaining that there were too many game modes and they might separate the community. I was ...
I couldn't even read the article. Before I finished the first sentence, there were TWO ads playing audio at the same time, making a cacophony so loud I was forced to leave the page instantly.
Because some people are old enough to remember before the Wii. Nintendo used to have the highest 3rd party support, but it started to dip with the Gamecube and took a huge dump with the Wii. There's no reason to think they couldn't get a lot of that back though just because of a couple generations that weren't positioned to attract 3rd party support. I'd argue that if the Switch is easy to develop and port for, it will have really good 3rd party support, since it brings someth...
Be aware that your site is coming up saying "The site ahead contains Malware" in Google.
What a dumb comment. Have you ever even played either?
I'm betting you didn't read the article either because from his standpoint it makes sense. He had never played cod4 before. He just played both for the first time. From mechanics they were nearly identical, but cod4 seemed like nothing was going on, had no choices and was just plain, and was slow in comparison, while in the new one there's a ton of new fun stuff going on. As a new person without rose colore...
I feel like everyone has been hoodwinked by 343 and I'm surprised no one has said a thing and instead praised them for "free DLC". This isn't free DLC - this is them releasing an unfinished game and then casually working on and releasing things that have always been in halo over the next year. Halo 5 released with fewer maps, game modes, and features than any other halo. Exactly which DL brought something that wasn't there at launch in other halo games? The forge dlc? Fi...
Honestly, this is one time I agree with Nintendo. I mean, this is their property. It's one thing if it's a unique fan made game, but this is literally a game nintendo owns and might make a remaster of one day. If there's a free copy out there, why would they ever do that? They even sell this game on the virtual console, but who's going to buy the virtual console version when they can get this one for free? Usually I hate when these companies send cease and desist letters, but ...
Honestly that's because most modern jrpgs are completely uninspired with extremely cliche, underwhelming stories and annoying characters. Back in the super Nintendo days, jrpgs like Chrono Trigger and FF6 were utterly amazing.
You know, in all honesty, I think Cod games get too much flack for this. It's quite normal for a studio to keep the same codebase for years and continuously evolve it. Even when companies say they have a new engine, a huge percentage of the "new" engine is likely based off of their old engine. The code IW uses now has probably been iterated upon so much that the engine is quite different from MW1. I mean, look at how long Valve used the Steam engine (hint: longer than the IW eng...
How is the original Black Ops not on this list? It has a story so good it could have been a blockbuster movie. I don't think there's been another fps with such a gripping, plot twist filled story.
Honestly, if you look at the common thread between a lot of these games, it's that developers are releasing games without an acceptable amount of content or not in a finished state. For example, SFV, Drive Club, Titanfall, Halo 5 to a certain extent, etc. It's a new worrying trend we're seeing now. I don't know why they think it's worth it, seeing as how they still end up completing the content with patches, but by then they've already lost a lot of money and players. ...
I'm hoping they've learned their lesson and it has tons of content - like as much as MW2. If it's not loaded with guns, maps, fun progression and customization, game types, etc., then forget about it. Titanfall got boring fast simply because there was so little content and I got sick of the mech combat.
I agree completely. It was very formulaic and linear and I got tired of doing the same structure of a level over and over again. I also thought the puzzles were subpar compared to past entries. Most of the puzzles felt like they just hid something where you wouldn't think to find it and you had to look around in every direction to find it. They were frustrating.
I actually didn't really like Skyward Sword. It was way too linear and formulaic. It almost felt like there were levels instead of an open world and each level proceeded the same exact way, with like an open world puzzle and then a dungeon. It felt like little creativity went into the general structure of the game.
I also felt the puzzles weren't near as good as Twilight Princess. Most of SS puzzles were look around until you find the hidden thing in some location yo...
I agree with this. I don't know why everyone is focusing on these VR experiences with whole rooms. The only VR experience that will succeed mainstream in people's houses is one that works while sitting in your comfortable gaming chair. I think they need to work on making existing game experiences like Mario, Zelda, CoD, Halo, Madden, etc. work flawlessly with VR. Then you'll have something that can go mainstream. Net every game has to be first person either! Look at Lucky's Ta...
@BizarroUltraman How are people so dumb? Why is your comment upvoted so much? It's worked INCREDIBLY well for Titanfall 2. No one bought Titanfall 2 because of a lackluster beta and bad release date. That's the reason it originally did poorly. The only reason the game didn't completely bomb was BECAUSE it has been reviewed so positively. I can't count how many articles I've seen on this site and Reddit with positive reviews and people in the comments saying, "oh, I gu...
