I might have agreed until my wife actually bought me one and I tried it. Now I think it's an ignorant comment. First, the switch itself was so much better made and more interesting than I expected after playing it. I actually do use both forms as well. Second, Zelda was so much better than I thought it would be. It's easily the best Zelda ever imo by a long shot, and I've played them all. In fact, it's the best game I've played in years and worth getting a switch for alone...
Is it just me or does this game look identical to Destiny 1? I mean, it looks like they just built a new area in the Destiny 1 engine with Destiny 1 models.
These articles are embarrassments.
Yeah, Mario Odyssey (and Nintendo) won like every E3 award, so calling it a turd is just stupid.
How stupid. I mean, of course valve is a company that wants to make money, but do they not remember how dead PC gaming was before steam? Do they not realize how much steam has done to make PC relevant again? And if Steam hadn't of come along and the leading PC platform was made by a company like Microsoft, so they not realize how much worse it would be? Valve is a company in the business of making money, yes, but they are a saint of a company compared to every other one right now. Other ...
To be honest, the only game on this list I'm really interested in is Below, and I'll probably get that for PC instead. I might get Sea of Thieves if my buddies are interested. Xbox One's line up has been such a disappointment for me compared to my 360.
There's a basic problem right now with VR that will just take time to get over and that's adoption rate vs profitability. PSVR is expensive and still difficult to find in stock for a lot of people, meaning that the install base isn't very high and so the amount of people available to buy games for it isn't very high. The result is making a AAA game for it isn't a good financial investment because even if everyone who has a PSVR bought it, they wouldn't break even. So t...
I liked Titanfall 2 substantially better than 1, and a large part of that is BECAUSE Titans didn't have shields. Titans shouldn't have shields. They're essentially like kill streaks, and if you're good enough with them, you can never die with shields. It's like having an albeit weaker aC130 for an entire match. On the other hand, in Titanfall 2, I felt like even if I did get blown up by the Titan, if I at least shot him once, I'm contributing, because that damage is go...
@Saranya They HAD a studio making a new one. It looked close to done and a LOT better than this, and then they mysteriously canceled it!
I think you're thinking of Mario Mario...? Or maybe his brother, Luigi Mario? They're the Mario brothers.
Only one I don't agree with is the auto aim. Auto aim done right is needed on consoles for an enjoyable experience and I hate fps games on consoles that don't have it. There a reason csgo on consoles flopped compared to PC, and it's the same reason CoD, despite its many faults, is widely considered to have the best aiming on consoles.
Let's be honest, not all of those are great jrpg series. It's like he just listed most every series with over 3 games. Star ocean and wild arms have had a ton of sub par games. The mana series really only had one big hit and the rest were poorly rated. I'm going to even state an unpopular opinion and say the Tales of series, despite its popularity, is not exactly a high quality series. They push out a new Tales game every couple years, each one full of shallow cliche characters an...
I know you're trying to be facetious, but you're kind of naive here. The Switch is also a portable console, and what portable consoles have historically had 3rd party games do the best on by a large margin? Nintendo consoles.
Besides, it's not like Nintendo hasn't had great 3rd party success historically. I think some people are just too young to remember the times when they had the number one 3rd party consoles. Granted, it's been a while, but that doe...
I don't get it. I mean, sure, they're stupid issues that shouldn't happen and if you're for some reason getting a replacement switch, it's annoying, but these issues aren't going to affect 98% of players. If they do happen, just call Nintendo and they'll sort it out for you, which by the way is how a lot of big software like Adobe Photoshop works.
I know I don't plan on transferring stuff between two switches if I ever get one. It just seems...
The 95% of all reviewers out there, many of which have panned other Nintendo games, that gave this game between a 9 and a 10 are all Nintendo sycophants? What a stupid comment. Why are people so dumb as to upvote it?
I don't get why you're so upvoted. I mean, do we actually have any idea what percentage of people have been seeing screen scratching? They could be isolated incidents from people being careless and Nintendo is just saying we haven't seen a single instance of this personally and so we'd like people to reach out to us and let us know how it happened.
Explain to me why dev kits are still a thing today? Why isn't every switch (or PS4/Xbox one) a dev kit? Why do you need something special?
I'm guessing you didn't read the whole article...
As someone that grew up on Castlevania, this saddens me. This isn't what Castlevania is about. I feel like it will cheapen the experience.
@TheGamingArt Trust me, I'm not biased. I own an Xbox one, PS4 pro, top of the line PC, and switch, not to mention all of the last generation systems. The stock controller isn't bad, but it's not great. I'd rank it around the PS3 controller. I think it has the best feeling controls I've ever felt in portable mode for a handheld system - it feels very well made and precise. I understand the pro controller is amazing, but I think it's way too expensive so I haven't p...
