This question -
"What is this 'RPG' thing our customers are talking about? Our game had elves and dwarves, didn't it?"
That's good news, then.
It's one of the reasons why I felt F1 2010 was very incomplete. Someone crash and stops in the middle of the track, yellow flags are waved and the car/debris disappears after a few seconds.
I wonder if it's sheer laziness on the developers' part or it's just too hard to implement. Because RFactor had a pretty decent safety-car feature.
Still no safety-car or warm-up lap?
So, when Activision hype-up their games and sells tons of copies, they're evil. But when EA does the same thing, it's OK?
Chris "roid-boy" Redfield? Talk about generic......
PES 2011's features were much better. But the actual gameplay(controls, AI, etc.) is rather bland compared to FIFA 11.
He's right. EA should stop being so f**king obsessed with selling more copies than COD, and just focus on making a damn good game first.
"Unveals"? What's that?
A 3.0Ghz C2D and a 250GTS can max-out the game? Or is that just to say "if you run on this setup, it'll be equivalent to the console versions".
DUH. Millions from both groups of casual and hardcore(or is it "addicted"?) gamers will still buy MW3 regardless of how it turns out. The name itself is a guaranteed couple of millions for Day 1. And I wouldn't be surprised if at least one-third of the people slating it in here would end up buying it.
I still LOL everytime I see that particular quote in it's various forms.
There's a term for that. It's called "consolization". Some people seem to think "consolization" only affects graphics, but it's much more than that. It changes everything from visuals constraints to control mechanisms to gameplay dynamics to the scope of the game itself.
Crytek are a bunch of sellouts who've ruined the good name of one of their own game because of their greed.
What about the 16:9 screen ratio lock? It's a little annoying as some of us have other ratios.
Lots of trailers for games, movies, etc have employed similar scores since Inception's became so popular. Even Johnny English 2 trailer had one, I think. LOL!
Great. But right now, why don't you just focus on ironing out a few kinks in The Witcher 2, and then you can work on other projects afterwards?
I'm not gonna diss on it outright like some others. But the obvious thing is that, the graphics look dated compared to BF3 footage. However, the more important things would be how these 2 compare in terms of storytelling, plot-pacing, gameplay innovation and the most important of all for any game - the Fun Factor.
Milk milk milk.
LOL! That was one of the many things that annoyed me to no end about that game. Makes the devs look lazy.
Did they deliberately overuse those groans and moans to get a 'rise' out of some of their viewers?......... Because it TOTALLY WORKED. :D
