Well, if it was my idea that the game devs used, i would like at least a small acknowlegement for it in the form of a "Thank You" email, a "...inspired by the community" credit line or some such. If not, i'd be pissed as hell, as was in this case.
The same guy who ruined the RE franchise for the fans is being re-hired for (*shiver*) another trilogy? Agreed. It's not a list of 'bad' games, it's a list of games(good/bad) that gets uber-hype before release and then cooldown too quickly afterwards. And yes, the article makes absolutely no sense because like the earlier posts pointed out, there's not much you can write about a game after release other than DLC and bugs.

As a male gamer, i've probably never touched any "girl-themed" game in my whole life except for maybe The Sims(if you call it a girl-game). So i can't give my opinion on the main subject. But on the other hand, i really don't think games affect a guy's(in particular) behavior so much as to the result that they're always thinking about beating up hookers for money, run over helpless pedestrians, chase their neighbours around with dual-SMGs or stab little old ladies in the back.

First game was "very good" on the 360 and "just about okay" on the PC... if Gears 2 PC is gonna be similar to the first game, then i'm not that interested and i certainly won't care if MS never release it on the PC, just like i'm not complaining about Halo 3 not coming to the PC....

L4D2 should be DLC expansion with the option of being $20 or $60 depending on whether you have the original game or not. It's way too early to release a sequel when it's only been like 6 months(?) or so.... unless, Valve has found a miracle dev group that can produce a very good quality game that doesn't reek of the first one, within 6-8 months....
...Ubuntu is indeed stable. But for the people who were using Windows OS for the past 5-10 years, it's just too complicated. Many PC users aren't techies, they need to have something they can understand easily and i don't think Ubuntu is 'easier to learn/understand' for the average person than Windows. In case you're wondering, Yes, i have used both Ubuntu and Fedora and they're very safe and stable, but they lack proper user-friendly functionality compared to Windows.
