Just make them a lot harder to pin, especially in title matches. Make them more aware of their environment. Have them make a much more varied use of their moves more often(e.g. - constant back-rakes in backstage brawls are annoying). And most importantly, drop the 99% counter bullsh!t.

No problem whatsoever. Some people just can't appreciate the amount of effort that these big publishers put to constantly bend us over at every opportunity. They think only Activision should be allowed to screw with their customers. EA should also be able to exploit their fanbase just like any other big company does.
How is a flash-suppressor not "overpowered"? It'll be a huge advantage, especially in night maps. If you don't want to give out overpowered stuff then give them camos or something, not guns and special-ammo with unique stats.

Catering to a "wider audience" is not always the best route to take. I thought EA learned that ages ago. Now, I just hope Mass Effect 3 does not suffer from the greed of it's publishers.
