@molleyrg2 And you know that based on? Oh wait, don’t tell me.. You and your friends all bought it digitally, therefor everyone else did. Haven’t heard that one a million times lol
If MS actually released their figures anymore, you’d see that digital attach ratios are nowhere near as high as you think.
“Majority opinion”
Can you explain how one franchise can sell so much more without the majority preferring it? How does that work?
So what were you gaming on before November 7th? Enjoy your Netflix box lol
Better than getting a rehashed sequel with microtransactions and one of the worst online communities in gaming.
Are they fake because you actually believe that? Or are they fake because they don’t make Xbox look good anymore? Last gen, Xbox fans treated VGC like it was the gospel, but now that sales have magically become irrelevant, they say VGC is fake. So which is it?
Also, same logic has been applied to metacritic I noticed.
Well, to be fair, those are all launch week numbers. If I’m not mistaken, Forza 4 went on to sell around 5 million copies total, so no, GT5 hasn’t outsold all of them. However, GT whole franchise has sold 3 times as many copies as Forza franchise, across the same number of games. GT truly is the king of console racing sims.
I love watching stealth Xbox fangirls like yourself get called out on your BS lol
Look back at all the games in past that turned out great, but could never get a sequel because they sold poorly, and tell everyone again how sales are irrelevant.
The weakest launch in Forza history, despite it being only 1 of 2 decent “exclusives” to release on Xbone this year. The franchise fatigue is real.
The Xbox fanboy desperation is real when they have to damage control Forza 7 sales by saying “B-b-but what Knack 2?!”
lol People don’t even have to call out your BS; you do it yourself 😂😂😂
Over 2:1 is an insane gap considering both consoles launched only within a week of each other, and have shared the majority of their library. Just goes to show how much quality exclusives will push hardware sales. Also keep in mind that that gap will only grow from here on out as Xbone’s peak sales year was last year, and will be falling off more and more from here on out. PS4 isn’t showing any signs of stopping anytime soon, when this year alone it has outsold Xbone by more than 3:1. I would...
PlayStation is by fact the superior console. Numbers don’t lie, just fanboys. But you’re more than welcome to your delusions. Enjoy being in the armpit of the console community ;)
I’ve got a PS4 Pro and a Switch. For anyone looking for an excellent combo, that’s it. I’m personally incredibly satisfied, and I won’t be feeling the need to buy a new console until PS5 arrives.
Nope. I’m more than happy with my PS4, and I’m looking forward to all the amazing games. I don’t care about the Power bragging thing; never did. I just know that someday there’s going to be a PS5, and it’s going to be an amazing PlayStation console just like the rest, hence why I’m looking forward to it and don’t care about some shovelware Netflix box. :)
Not unless you have both playing at the same time on two separate TV’s that are right next to each other, with the image zoomed in 200+ %.
Can’t wait for PS5. Real next gen hardware with real next gen games.
Because Crackdown 3 wasn’t announced over 3 years ago lol
Gears Ultimate and Halo MCC? I guess we can count the Uncharted Collection and TLoU Remastered as big investments as well then. Thanks.
Yikes, look at all that shovelware and rehashes. Quite the lineup lol
@sammarshall
Let’s start here: http://www.gameinformer.com...
Just started? What the hell have you all been doing for the last 3 years?
Sony’s in development: Spider-Man, God of War, Detroit, Death Stranding, Dreams, Days Gone, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last of Us 2. Games we’ll be seeing in the near future.
Xbox: Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, some times exclusived, and getting the next wave of shovelware titles ready to launch on their next gen Xbox.
The gaming industry moving exclusively to multiplayer-focused GaaS is basically the equivalent to Net Neutrality being removed; it’s going to destroy the industry as a whole.
