Honestly, I saw the movie yesterday, and actually enjoyed it. Some lines were a little corny, but beyond that, decent acting, great special effects, and the level of attention they gave to the greatest Navy in the world just made it awesome. Then, I did also thoroughly enjoy Battle: Los Angelos, so mabye I just have bad movie tastes. I could care less, I still enjoyed it.

As for the game tie-in, I know pretty much nothing about it.

That jacket is probably cheaply made and incomplete. You'll have to buy extra pieces for it to complete it, or wait 6 months until Capcom maufactures a better version.

It's possible, but as previous comments have stated, it's going to take a lot of work on Sony's part. As much as I like the nifty little device, the support for it from Sony seems to be almost at zero. Of course, E3 is just around the corner, so who knows? I'd say, as long as it can at least surpass the Dreamcast's overall lifetime sales this year, it'll be fine.

It's wierd. People call the 360 exclusives irrelevant, but does noone remember back in 2007, when the PS3 was looking to have a worse fate than the Dreamcast, but it was saved, not because of Blu ray, but because it began offering awesome exclusives. Simple as that.

The 360 has been kept alive by it's success in the US, alone.

I think this is kindof funny, simply because 360 fanboys have a tendency to bring up sales all the time. Of the the 3 console giants this gen, Microsoft has been the only one turning a profit, yet they have had the least number of AAA exclusives. All this money coming in, and it's being wasted on marketing CoD and publishing A-AA Kinect titles. It's kindof sad.

I've preferred PS3 for most of this gen, simply because for the last 4 years, the console has been provi...

I really don't understand all this KZ3 hate. I mean sure, the campaign was lackluster in some ways compared to KZ2, but the level of cotent the MP experience contained completely made up for and then some. The main gripe I hear is the weighty controls. Don't get me wrong, those were cool, but they tended to make the game feel less fluid. KZ3 still had some of the weight. It just focused more on accurate weapons. I think in the end, the KZ3 controls were actually better, but mabye that...

The ApocalyPS3... lol

@Basilezz3030 Oh, b-b-b-b-but exlusives are irrelevant because the 360 doesn't have any. Multiplats are where it's at, because they are leagues superior on the all superior Xbox 1.5 -IMEAN- Xbox 360 hardware. Plus, getting DLC exclusive for 30 days is like having an actual exclusive, right? Yeah, you Gaystation fans totally get owned everytime a new CoD DLC comes out.

Besides, Gaystation 3 exclusives are irrelevant because you gu...

People really need to stop sh*tting on them for adding MP. Just because a few incompetent devs messed up their own games by adding MP, doesn't mean Santa Monica will. They're a great development team, and this game will be a fantastic SP experience as well as MP.

Just another PS3 exclusive to chalk down on the list. This list keeps getting bigger and more awesome.

I'm loving the comments in the article. Come on guys, It's Santa Monica. Have some friggin faith. It's not like every single game that starts out with SP, and adds MP to the series later on, is always bad. Just look at Uncharted. Uncharted 3 put a huge empasis on MP, but still had the best SP of 2011. Not to mention, it only had 2 years of dev time. When this game hits store shelves, it'll have had 3 years, and I'm more than confident that Santa Monica can deliver a comple...

In this case, DLC might actually be a great thing. If the core game contains a strong main roster, it'll attract a robust community that request more of their favorites to be added to the roster through DLC, thus creating a stronger community and a stronger game. The same applies to levels, features, etc.

As long as Sony and SBE don't pull a Capcom DLC stunt, this game will be great with DLC support.

The top comments are right. SSB tends to be the single best party/MP game with each Nintendo console. Now that the Nintendrones finally see a game that can not only be as great as SSB, but potentially better, they're going to do as much damage control and ripoff calling, despite the fact that we know extremely about just what the game will feature. People with me, who think this looks awesome and can't wait for its release, prepare for a bumpy ride. The criticism for this game is only...

Because every update to the same game should cost people $60. Riiiiiight.

Screw it. The title could be, "If you buy this crap, you like the c*ck", for all I care. If it delivers a smash bros-esq experience with all, or most of, the PS base characters, I'm game to buy this day 1. I think it's a safe bet that we will finally see this at E3.

These sales figures are for the US. Of course the 360 sold better in the US, no shit. I'm pretty sure the last time Sony reported their 2011 sales numbers, it was around 15 million.

Oh Noes!!! Say it ain't so!!! A brand new console being more powerful than 6 and 7 year old ones?!?!?! I've heard of or seen that happen before! Gimme a break Nintendrone. The Wii-U will have it's 5 seconds of fame, and then the PS4 and 720 will come around to annihilate it. Just like this past gem. Moron.

You completely forgot about Starhawk and Twisted Metal until someone pointed it out, and you're also forgetting Sly 4, Dust 514, a potential Syphon Filter 4, and a potential God of War 4. We're just scratching the top here. I can almost Guarentee Sony will announce more along the way, but for now Twisted Metal and Starhawk just look too freakin awesome (actually I've been playing Starhawk and I can already tell it's going to be great). Beyond that, Xbox only owners really only...

Really? Handheld gaming is doomed because Sony's new portable isn't destroyed the 3DS? We are talking about the long time leader for global sales in the portable gaming market (Nintendo). If anything, the Vita is doing wery well considering what it's up against, and is actually showing potential to surpass the 3DS in sales, something that no other portable brand has done to a Nintendo portable.

As far as this whole "Consoles and Portable gaming is dying!&q...

People tend to forget how much better Uncharted 3 looks than Uncharted 1, despite the fact that both are using the same engine running on the same hardware. As developers learn a new hardware architecture, games will begin to look better and better. There's nothing saying that UC:GA is the best a Vita can pump out. Based on how good UC:GA looks, I can honestly see a future UC on Vita looking as good as UC3 or even possibly better.
