I feel like most developers already are. Just stick to the same system that Overwatch and CoD use, and they’ll be fine.
If those are gambling, 90’s kids were gambling hardcore with Pokemon cards lol
I somewhat agree with him. There’s no debating that if you don’t spend money on loot boxes, they’re not definitely not gambling. As long as the developer doesn’t pull an EA, and tie loot boxes directly to the progression system as a means to literally force people to buy them to actually progress, I honestly kindof like loot boxes. In CoD WW2, there’s something enjoyable about getting a supply drop through playing the game and not knowing what you’re gonna get, and the level of satisfication ...
Well duh. This has been a fact since Project Scorpio was announced. It’s a lot less a matter of having both and getting slightly better multiplats, and more a matter of why would I waste the $500? I play on PlayStation for more than just exclusives; I play on it because it’s the best place to play games in general. I enjoy having the majority of the best games out there on one system, and if I ever really feel that need to play a Xbone “exclusive”, I’ll simply play it on my S.
@maybelovehate What do you care about people’s choices? You were fine with playing the inferior versions for the last 4 years.
Sony was talking about VR around the time the PS4 originally launched. Yes, the console was very much built with VR in mind, especially the Pro. VR is still young, hence why there’s going to be some technical hiccups, but for all intents and purposes, PSVR runs great with Pro.
Not too bad. Purchased Darksiders 2 when it was on sale with the first one, but that King Fu Panda game looks like it can be a decent time killer. Free is free as they say
Progression systems have kindof become a staple of online multiplayer these days. Don’t get me wrong, having everything unlocked from the getgo is nice, but playing to earn it and complete other challenges is good to. Either way, EA’s whole mentality of “let’s hide literally EVERYTHING in the progression system behind loot boxes” was far far worse.
I’d say they did so much more. Making a good Battlefront game is not hard, especially when you consider that there are literally several other entries to base improvements off of. The original Battlefront 2 is still a classic to this day for a reason: it was great, and wasn’t riddled with MT’s trying to hide an incomplete game. The ironic part is, if they had simply gone off the original BF model, and maybe had just a small number of MT’s for only cosmetic items, and an actual progression sys...
And yet you have Xbox fans calling PSVR a flop, even though it’s leading the charge in a still juvenile technology. That’s the great thing about what Sony is doing; as usual they’re taking the risks and setting VR up for a future on consoles. As the sales grow, so will the technology. Soon enough, we’ll be seeing a significantly improved PSVR 2.0. Meanwhile, Xbox is going to wait until the device has really taken, but out someone else’s headset, and refer to it as their own innovation.
Yeah, but I typically only play multiplats on PlayStation.
I’m totally stoked at the possibility of TLoU2 gameplay. It’s my most anticipated title, and I can’t wait to see it in action.
When did EA become the voice of opinion for gamers everywhere? Clearly your “economists” don’t know crap, considering the game that could’ve made multiple billions of dollars, had you morons just been a little less greedy with the MT system, is instead being avoided like the plague. Pretty sad when your games are basically the only new AAA releases that don’t sell out on Black Friday.
Release it on PS4 and I’ll be your next customer.
Did it? Or were people just being dumb?
Sueing the kid seems kindof harsh, but he basically asked for it. Just take the damn video down.
Cheaters only cheat in online video games for one of two reasons: either their real world lives are that sad and depraved that they need to do whatever they can to win in a video game to feel that their life has any value, or they like trolling and just want to piss others off. Maybe his mother should help find another hobby or stop raising him to be such a prick.
That’s kindof silly. Fortnite is rated T for Teen, and it’s a relatively juvenile game in terms of dialogue and violence. I see no reason why a 14 year old can’t play it. Not sure how you can possibly compare it to a R rated film or porn.
I’ll wait for real numbers. Sony announced this year to be PlayStation’s Best Black Friday in the 22 years the brand has existed; according to this, both the Switch and the X did better, and I find it very hard to believe that both of those consoles somehow performed better than every Black Friday ever for PlayStation. Switch is a little more believable, but X? Not a chance in hell lol
With the sources we’ve gotten from retailers like GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy, this s...
You really don’t understand the effects a corporate controlled internet would have, do you?
So 4 if the 5 people who bought the game are still playing it? Cool.
