By this logic, GTA V should have been GotY for the last 4 years.
If X doesn’t have sales longevity, Xbone fizzling out is actually a possibility lol
@The10thRider If you say so, but I disagree. Those titles are popular, but most of them don’t put out the same sales numbers per title as Zelda and 3D Mario do.
@wonderfulmonkeyman Read my follow up comment. I noticed that error when it was too late to edit, I meant to say Third party
Don’t say that, because then you’re making a damned if you do/ damned if you don’t situation for developers. At least they’re being honest here and fixing the problem, instead of calling people “armchair developers” and telling them they should be taking pride in the crap system.
Meh, they don’t really deserve much crap for this because at least the bright engrams were purely cosmetic. Anyone dumb enough to get so frustrated with slow bright engram XP gain that they actually spend more money, that’s totally on them. Not Bungie. Besides the season pass, I haven’t spent an extra dime on D2, and I got crap tons of bright engrams, and not a damn thing worthwhile came out of them. I couldn’t care less if Bungie was trying to lure in the people that desperate for some point...
I would agree with you, but your wording says you’re actually defending a system where people who pay more have a gameplay advantage, and that’s ridiculous. That’s like saying people don’t want Net Neutrality revoked because they’re poor, and I seriously hope you understand how incredibly asinine that is.
I don’t really care if they stay as long as they are handled properly. The best example of microtransactions and loot boxes being implemented perfectly is Uncharted 4. If all companies can simply copy the way that handled them, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
My mistake, I meant to say “lack of THIRD party support”. Can’t edit it now.
All major online retailers have confirmed PS4 sold out. None have said anything about any console being sold out in-store (yet); GameStop is simply stating that out of all 3, PS4 did the best
MS only continues to exist only because of Windows. They have the cheapest OS that is so easy to use, a monkey can figure it out, so of course they are going to be contracted by pretty much all federal and corporate entities, who pay them insane amounts of cash to maintain it for them. If it weren’t for Windows’ success, MS wouldn’t even exist.
It’s humorous when you guys use that tired old argument; if MS is so much better because of money, why has so little of that money...
@someone You talk as if your opinion is reflective of the masses, when the reality is that it’s not. You might not be interested in those games, but Spider-Mam received the most attention out of this passed E3, God of War has far more anticipation than anything on Xbone, Uncharted’s franchise sales and critical acclaim speak for themselves, The Last of Us 2 has been voted as the most anticipated game (hell, just look up the PSX 2016 audience reaction at the reveal), and SotC’s reputation in t...
Since this is NPD analyst, I’m pretty sure he’s saying 40% of US marketshare, and that he’s referring strictly to home consoles. That would mean Switch would have to outsell PS4’s total hardware in the US. Considering that PS4 is still able to sell out on Black Friday, that’s highly unlikely even with a full fledged Pokemon game. Switch’s continued lack of strong first party support, as well as higher price point, will keep it from outselling PS4 in the US.
It’s also up in ...
Apparently I bought my Xbone S as a shelf decoration, so I’m just gonna use your logic and assume that’s what most people are buying Xbone’s for now.
Depends on what exactly the new Pokemon is. Nintendo has released RPG-style Pokemon games on console in the past, but they’ve never been able to live up to the handheld versions, and don’t turn out to be the biggest sellers. There’s definitely huge potential there though, but I doubt they’re going to take that much market share away from PS4/ Xbone
I already got the platinum trophy for this. Darn lol
I missed the part where Deep Down was a Sony title. Oh wait. It’s not lol
But what does it matter? It could be in our hands tomorrow, be the most critically acclaimed game ever, and you Xbox cheerleaders would still try to damage control and trash it
Since When was Days Gone cancelled? lol
With the insane amount of games Sony has to maintain attention for, they kindof have to pick and choose which ones have the spotlight for a bit. Until we hear official confirmation about otherwise, the game is still in development. Just give it Time.
More games, better games. Pretty much outweighs everything lol
You seem to forget that X hasn’t even been out for a month yet, and that Xbone is still a thing. Fun fact: just because X is out, doesn’t change the fact that there are 30 million Xbone’s out there, and none of them magicially transformed into X’s.
I say again, what’s worse? Fixing it, or just insulting the consumer?
