I can't believe more people don't have things to say about this. This stampedes all over the rights of publishers, developers, retailers and gamers alike. I wish more companies would take risks and produce unrated or AO games. Think of it like when bands went independent and produced and shipped their own product without affiliation to record companies.
I'm definitely looking forward to this. When I played the original Tomb Raider so many years ago I was struck in awe at how cool it was. It was one of the first Playstation games that I felt did something different.
That and I could climb above the pit with the tigers and swan dive below.
Sony's plan can remain mutually exlusive to Nintendo's Mii concept. I wouldn't have made the comparison for those two, Sony has more of a "Second Life" thing with Home. It's okay to like both.
As for inviting people over or sending them MP3's, this can take chatting to a whole new level. I talk to people all over the country as you probably do too. Being able to join many of them and use a headset, put on music, etc. It sounds fun.
With a Stargate MMO, one can only hope that a Battlestar Galactica one gets made. As a rule, I don't like this type of game. But a BSG MMO where players could by Cylons or humans and you don't know who is who. That could be interesting.
I don't think Nintendo comes off well with these comments. Miyamoto says "Nintendo years ago considered and rejected the type of approach Sony is now taking." Sounds like sour grapes.
This is incredible. I couldn't imagine what Sony had in mind when the info started to leak the other day. While I've been loyal to my PS2 and was trying to make up my mind on what to get, this sold me on a PS3. Not to say I won't get others but this is cool.
Things are really looking up for Sony lately.
Yes I know there is good with the bad but ads have the potential to really ruin games. Sure this isn't the first instance where they have appeared but now there is the possibility of in-game ads for GTA IV. Where that game has had jokes before a change like this would be a big takeaway.
The third could always be something like Resistance: Evolution of Man
Yeah I work for a cable company, high-def is huge now and people are always asking for tips and information about it. A $300 Blu-ray player would definitely boost the industry.
Even better you should check out when he was an anchor on 'The Daily Show' with Jon Stewart, then you'll know why he would be perfect.
Definitely. I think we should enlist Rob Corddry for the task.
This article is just to stir controversy. Really Sony should be given some credit for fixing an error. No one can really claim that any of the 3 new consoles are without problems. Sony's are documented here, XBox 360 has a host of BC issues, and the Wii's Virtual Console is far from perfect.
While I don't plan on dumping my PS2 library I don't need 100% compatibility. Fact is I don't own all the PS2 games nor do I want to. If the emulated BC can reach the standard's PS2 met, i....
This game looks incredible, I loved Far Cry. It's too bad that I'm only on a single core with a 6800 GT because I really want to take advantage of what this game will bring to the table.
I think it's almost upgrade time.
I see Microsoft around 19-20 million, mostly slowed down because I don't expect sales in Japan to really pick up.
Based on the selling trend of the Wii, if popularity remains they could be closer to 15 million with Christmas sales, the price is a plus.
Finally I think people are warming up to the PS3 with the firmware updates, Immersion business, etc I see them around 11-12 million. I think their are a lot of Sony loyalists who haven't made their move yet.

Haha no. What I meant to say is I know the first Ultima came out a long time ago. I'm surprised people are still playing Ultima Online. Another friend though still plays the X-Com games which are pretty old now too.
I know it. I'm amazed this game still has a following. My friend still plays it avidly.
Ouch. That video made me sad. I knew the answer to all those questions, they weren't hard.
That is definitely what they should do. If they want to keep a new premium unit They could have a $599 model with 160 GB drive and component or HDMI cables included. The cost of a 2.5'' 160 GB is ~ $100 anyhow.
The Ratchet & Clank games are wicked fun. Where this is Insomniac's second PS3 game it should be interesting to see what they can get out of the system. Can't wait!
The article has "PS2 Features" as part of the title.
