The list is also missing some known titles though. It's been reported a few times about Team ICO working on something (maybe two). Jak & Daxter title too. Also, Ninja Gaiden 2 is rumored as an Xbox 360 exclusive, not confirmed.
It was an exclusive, just a timed one.
Yeah, as much as we fight about the console wars, it's all in good fun. I always hope there are two or three in the running. We all know what happens when hardware and/or software companies have no competitors. We get a junk product.
It's nice to hear Sony is still putting full support behind the system. As DAverage said don't count them out, it's early and their sales will turn around like it or not.
I'm really waiting for games from Fumito Ueda (Team ICO) and hearing that two of those are on the way is great.
I never really liked the Halo series, I understand its draw but I just couldn't get into it. On the other hand, I loved playing through Far Cry even if it's MP wasn't astonishing. Visually FC had the advantage and I think Crytek will outdo themselves.
Halo 3 will likely have the bigger sales though.
I hope so. This was a really fun game. It was the first I played when the 6800 GT had just come out and was amazing visually.
I can't believe this got approved. Seems like everything passes for news lately.
The movie, TV and music industry have been under the same fire for a long time. It's just that games are more recent because those industries have been around for some time now.
Neither the article or the video mention the Wii
It definitely looks a little dated. I think your dead on about Crysis though, it's probably going to set the bar pretty high.
This is from 2000: http://www.rpgamer.com/news...
The game industry generates a lot of money every year, I believe that it has surpassed Hollywood in revenue generated (though please fact check me!). For example, it would be fair to say that violent crimes are committed by people who watch movies or attend religious services too. By coincidence alone crimes are going to committed by people of all backgrounds including gamers. The two are not always related. So where is his crusade against movies, religion or hell human nature?

I can't believe this got approved. That was lame.
Use common spelling when you reply. :) 'Spell Check' is for your benefit.
But honestly, I can take that you like XBox Live it's a pretty good setup but honestly Vista is not a good product. You say it's the best for gaming but the host of driver and software problems say otherwise.
Those are not impressive screenshots. Instead of the same old retread graphics engine they really need to start over.
This is an interesting assessment and an extremely short article though. I said this in a previous comment about the X360's profitability when someone was making outrageous claims about how well the system is doing.
From a gamer's perspective the XBox 360 has done well. From a financial aspect it HAS NOT been profitable. The XBox was not profitable either. Microsoft is going to need a lot more than their current cap of 24 million from the last round for them to profit.

This really should be titled "No More on Bigger PS3 Hard Drive"... knock knock.. who's there? speculation!
Seriously though, Sony is more likely to double their hard drive size to stay competitive. With the change to 65nm bringing cost down a great deal you may see two SKUs again for a while.
To be fair it's pretty well known that each development cycle (or generation) makes advances over the last. The XBox 360 has had the advantage of being out a year longer than the PS3. Give it time.
The truth is I can't see why everyone said the PS3 version looks miserably bad. Aside from some contrast differences both versions look great. I played through the game on PC and I wouldn't be ashamed of either of these versions.
Yeah same here warfed, when I played it I seriously thought it was just another FPS with a typical story. I couldn't believe it blew up shortly after that.
