@WiiUAlpha:

I could not. I'm not contradicting you, I was just adding my take to your thoughts, to which I agreed a 100%.

@shwnbggns01

I can't make heads nor tails of your argument. The three Mass Effect games got great reviews from IGN, and I agree with those scores, because I played all three and they're indeed superb games.

But still, those are RPG-third person shooting games, and Ninja Gaiden is a hack n' slash series with some RPG elements. Apples to oranges, so... what was your point, again? To me it looked like a pretty weak attempt to discredit IGN's opin...

Guys... I was joking. I was implying that Brawl's online was so awful, it was as if it didn't have it at all. >_<

But Brawl didn't have online at all! :P

Jim Sterling, uh? Yeah, this review doesn't count. At all.

*ignores*

You're being absolutely ridiculous. The original score IGN gave to Ninja Gaiden 3 was a 3 out of 10. THREE out of ten. Now, they gave the Wii U version a 7.6, which is, yes, a HUGE difference in scoring. Do you consider a 7.6 a bad score? Ok, wake up. In the review scale, 7.6 means a good game. Not mediocre, not average, that would be 5.0, right in the middle. 7.6 is solid.

So, how's a game going from "absolutely awful" to "good" a bad thing? Are y...

So, it's a biased review because it didn't give the game the score you expected? That means that a website that gives Razor's Edge a 8 or 9 out of 10 will be a "honest review" in your eyes?

Makes sense!

I'm with you here. I think people is having such high expectatives for Zombi U, I fear this could be like a repeat of the Red Steel fiasco when the Wii launched.

I hope I'm wrong.

That doesn't necessarily means he's rich. Maybe he just saved up some money for a few months just for the launch of the Wii U.

:P

I haven't been able to confirm anywhere that Trine 2 is effectively a launch-day title for the Wii U. Everywhere I've seen, it's just stated for release for "november" (no specific date), or worse still, as a "launch window" game, which we all know ranges from november 18th to the end of march.

Can anyone confirm this for me, please? I'm taking the day off work on monday so I can enjoy my Wii U on sunday and monday, but I don't think Ni...

Wait, I thought it was confirmed that the Gamepad had clickable analog sticks some time ago. I find it weird that the Pro Controller would have a function that the Gamepad lacks. Oh well, I guess the actions on the clickable sticks would be remapped somewhere else on the Gamepad, so I'll take that as just a matter of getting used to the feel of the new controller.

Is Black Ops 2 also playable with Wii Remote + Nunchuck combo? If so, then I think you would have some advant...

Well, I will skip work... but for the Wii U launch, not for COD. :D

It's not concerning when you take into account this is Nintendo we're talking about. They never release the full specs for their consoles or handhelds. We won't know the actual specs of the Wii U until after release, when someone opens the console to study the components.

Because of the camera, which the Wii remote doesn't have. The 3DS also has the same exact motion capabilities as the gamepad, so both must work in the same way.

Either that, or there's little gnomes living inside the Gamepad doing that work. Your pick. :P

You mean when you move the Gamepad? It has its own sensors and camera, so I guess they're good enough to triangulate the Pad's position.

4963d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

I really don't understand what you're trying to say here. Yes, the sensor bar is needed if you want to play any Wii game, that's a given.

Is it a big deal? If so, why?

As yavorsv said above, great thinking. However, nothing is written on stone, and we don't know for sure yet if Microsoft will definitely implement kinect on their next console, although yes, that's the most likely scenario.

But even discounting Microsoft, what's stopping Sony? I think they will be the last of the 3 to launch a next-gen console, and they could try their own Gamepad, and make it native to the console. It could be just slightly more powerful than the...

What you said is true about ANY game system, ever, not only the Wii U. :P

When the PS4 and Xbox 720 are announced, you will see a lot of Nintendo fanboys hating on those systems, and a lot of Sony / Microsoft fans defending them.

It's always been like that. When I was a kid, I had arguments with my friends about Genesis vs. SNES (I was on the NIntendo camp, BTW). The only difference here is that the internet has given us more access to said discussions, e...
