The update actually isn't even 1 GB in size. I know it because I checked the storage I had BEFORE doing the update in system settings. It said I had 25 GB left.
I did the update. It took a bit under 2 hours to download it, and I'm on crappy 2 MB connection (actually, my download speed is a bit under 2 MB).
After the update was downloaded and applied, I checked the space available again. IT WAS STILL 25 GB.
This means that this update...
Proven... how? Please elaborate.
If you don't even know what Hotline Miami is, how do you know Assassin's Creed 3 is bigger and better?
Tool.
Don't let the disagrees make you sad, you said the truth. We don't need any of these companies; however, they effectively needs us. That goes for everyone, not only Nintendo.
SUCKERS REPRESENT!!!
\o
I don't see why you got so many disagrees, I guess everyone took it as a personal attack. I personally didn't take any offense with your post: I'm a big Nintendo fan, I preordered my Wii U, and what you stated is probably fact.
The PS4 and Xbox 720 are also going to sell out on preorders after they're announced, and, exactly like the Wii U, a big reason for them selling out will be the biggest Sony / Microsoft fans that want those consoles day one.

To be fair, when it comes to Mario platformers, it's the New Super Mario series that plays it safe. But the 3D Mario platforming games are always spectacular, and bring truly new stuff to the table. Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, the Galaxy series and Mario 3D Land are all top-notch 3D platforming games, and all of them play pretty differently between them.
They definitely COULD. Now, WILL they? It would be awesome, of course, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it. So far, the only Nintendo franchise where they've taken online play seriously has been Mario Kart (Smash Bros doesn't count, because Brawl's online was awful).
THE TROLLING LEVELS ON THIS ARTICLE ARE TOO DAMN HIGH.
Mmmm. I just read IGN's review, and while it makes it sound like it's indeed a great game, it doesn't sound like 9.1 great. I feel a disparity between what was written and the final score. Based on what I read, a 8 or 8.5 would've fit the content of the review better, in my opinion.
Still getting it on sunday along with my Wii U! I'm a sucker for platformers, so I will have a lot of fun with this game, regardless.
1. Mario Sunshine wasn't at Gamecube's launch. That was Luigi's Mansion.
2. Agree, Mario 64 is great.
3. The New Super Mario Bros. series is the most traditional take on Mario's platforming, and I didn't expect Mario Bros U to be different, and that is actually a fact that is called for in various reviews. On the other hand, 3D Mario games are always top notch and always add new things to the formula. Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, Mario 3D Lan...
Can you expand your iPod's memory to up to 3 TB?
That's what I thought.
Usb 2.0 has faster read speeds than the blu ray on the PS3. It's about 4 times faster, actually. You will be able to play games off the external HDD just fine.
Honestly, I sort of agree with eferreira up there. I've read quite a few reviews and articles by Audrey, and she doesn't seem to have very high standards when it come to reviewing games. Because of this, I honestly don't trust her criteria, even though I'm a big Nintendo fan.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate actually streams to the Gamep...
Oh, wait, it's just Mika. Never mind.
That's all interesting, could you please provide some links to back up those numbers? My memory is fuzzy, but I remember that back in 2006, Nintendo had about 4 million Wii units ready for launch, and all of them were sold out on day one between preorders and the buying frenzy of launch day.
Meanwhile, Sony was supposed to have 400,000 PS3 units ready for its launch in november, 2006, but there was a big number of PS3's that had some issue with the laser or something ...
Not really. The PS3 also sold out on all preorders when it was about to release, and that was a $500-$600 machine.
Consumer demand is also ridiculously high whenever Apple launches any of their iDevices, and we all know Apple stuff is expensive as hell.
And I'm pretty sure that Sony's and Microsoft's next home consoles will also sell out on preorders, even if they end up costing $500 or more (which I doubt, but that's another story).

YARLY
Why can't a console appeal to both camps equally? Sony's doing it, Microsoft's doing it, so why the Wii U can't do it as well?
While that's true, it doesn't change the fact that I downloaded the patch fairly quickly. I download a lot of stuff all the time, and 5 GB's take me at least 7 hours, and that's on my PC. There's no way I could download so much data in less than 2 hours on my PC, let alone my Wii U. That's why I'm pretty sure it's not 5 GB.
