Well, that's what they get for giving Modnation Racers the finger, when it had all the potential in the world to actually dethrone Mario Kart, if it wasn't for those horrible load times.
Yes, I'm still resented that LBP Karting exists when the right thing would've been to give Modnations another chance, and improve things from the original game.
:(
What's wrong with Other M's and God of War 3's endings? I loved them, and I liked ME3's ending, too. :P
What the hell, why so many disagrees only for stating you're excited for Microsoft's next console?
Meanwhile, other dude replied to you that he's excited about the PS4, and he gets a ton of agrees.
Fanboys much? >_>
Really? You could argue that third parties told Nintendo to F themselves in the first place, with the N64 and the GameCube after that.
To be fair, hardly any of the decisions you made on the first game affected the second, as well. So I didn't really expect it to be any different when I played ME3, and I wasn't disappointed.
Did you just base your aguments on the validity of a game based on resolution alone?
By that logic, then, Nintendoland, at 720p, is a better game and more worthy of $60 than Grand Theft Auto IV, which runs at 500-something p?
Seriously?
I know I will get a lot of disagrees for saying that, but I'm not bashing on Nintendo at all. I just find that argument absolutely stupid.
Well, that's another way to see it, but personally, I think the launch window (first 4 months) is looking pretty decent already, so I won't mind waiting for the heavy hitters to, well, hit us later. That's what usually happens with all consoles nowadays. The PS3 and Xbox 360 didn't get their really strong titles until after about a year in the market, I don't really expect the Wii U to be different in that regard, much less so when Nintendo needs to hold some wild cards to...
Fair enough. If by blockbuster you mean the big Nintendo games (Mario, Zelda, Metroid), I expect some of those to be revealed at next year's E3, to counterweight Sony and Microsoft's reveals of their next home consoles. To me, it makes sense.
A price cut will eventually come, of course, but as soon as February? Lol, give me some of what you're smoking.
How about a 2D one for the 3DS, and a 3D one for Wii U? :D
Or better yet, a hybrid like Metrodi: Other M for Wii U, but with good dialogue good voice acting, and more emphasis on exploration, and a good argument for having to unlock your Varia suit powers as the game progresses... basically, Other M without the flaws.
:P
There's many ways to look at it.
From a gameplay, control and game design perspective, the industry has advanced a lot since OOT was released. As a result, there are a lot of games that are actually better than Zelda OOT, not only from other IPs, but also within the Zelda franchise itself. Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are all better games.
But from a historic perspective (regarding the impact and influence that this game caused in the i...
The Dreamcast was weaker than the PS2, actually.
And as far as I know, Nintendo has never sold their consoles at ridiculously higher prices than their competition, they've always made their prices competitive. Only exception that comes to mind was the 3DS when it launched at $250, and look how it worked out for Nintendo, slashing the price dramatically a few months later.
So yeah, Nintendo actually has a reputation of selling their hardware at sensible pr...
Let's not forget the Eagle Head in Super Mario Bros 2, which served as a portal to end all the levels until near the end of the game, where it became alive and went after you. That scared me as a kid.
:(
@LX-General-Kaos
You mean the Microsoft™ Xbox 360® Entertainment System.
:P
New Super Mario Bros. U. The NSMB series is one of the best selling EVER.
So yeah, Wii U do actually have a killer app.
Electronic Arts gave a shot at something original and completely new, when they published Mirror's Edge.
And that game was a flop. Sadly, originality and new ideas are a very hard sell nowadays.
Being a nerd isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't know if the dude above you is a nerd or not, but he certainly is an idiot.
Of course I want the next true Zelda game, as well. But there's nothing wrong with wanting an HD port of Wind Waker, too.
:3
All I want is Wind Waker with widescreen and HD support, and taking advantage of the GamePad (for inventory, maps, and Tingle!)
It's a no-brainer. Get to it, Nintendo.
Sorry. Zombi U looking better than any current HD game?
Better than Mass Effect 3? Uncharted 2/3? God of War 3?
Get serious. I expect the Wii U to get some incredibly looking games in the future, and probably in a year or two we could see some games that looks better than anything currently out there... but I don't think it's realistic to expect it from launch games, and Zombi U certainly doesn't look anything special in the graphics department. At a...
