Microsoft is good for gaming, too, by virtue of what Xbox Live brought to the table.
All three companies are beneficial to gaming in different ways.
I'll let you know, people in N4G have a really, really hard time at catching sarcasm.
Do you have it?
This is, simply put, the best Zombi U review I've read, and not because of the score (other sites scored it even higher), but because of the contents of the review itself. Excellently written. I wasn't going to pick this up until after it hit the bargain bin, but now Giantbomb has convinced me. I'll be buying this game in december.
:)
Lol, IKR? People are attracted to drama and bad things more than they are to the opposite. It's just human nature.
This is one of my most anticipated Wii U games. I'm a sucker for sandbox games like GTA and Saints Row, and the LEGO games are consistently fun, so I have a lot of faith on this one.
I tried Skyward Sword on my Wii U while on Wii mode. I didn't see any noticeable difference.
Then again, my HDTV is a plasma with a pretty damn good upscaler. Despite it being 50", Wii games looked way better on it than they did on my previous TV (32" Sony Bravia).
So, maybe that's why I didn't notice any difference.
The story could be different with other people that own HDTV's that aren't as good at upscaling, ...
You didn't even read the article, did you?
I called it, and got a bunch of disagrees. N4G is truly a special place.
But they can optimize the apps and the OS so everything works better with the hardware at hand.
@wampdog:
Yes, "time". Even putting the money factor aside, some people may have a pretty busy life for various reasons (work, kids, etc) so they can't justify having more than one console to play.
Why is this so hard to understand?
Well, Ubisoft is giving Nintendo a run for their money with Rayman Origins and the upcoming Rayman Legends. I personally still prefer the platforming mechanics in the NSMB series, but still, Origins is an amazing platforming game.
Also, Super Meat Boy is platforming perfection. Team Meat knows platform gaming.
That's true, for the most part. But it's also the most polished of all 4 NSMB games released, with a superb level design, good difficulty, awesome extra modes that are pretty challenging, the hability to play it without the TV, and it's HD to boot.
So, despite it not being innovative in any meaningful way, it's still a superb game. I wouldn't rate it 10 out of 10, but it's far from mediocre.
Not all games are developed equally. Just because Assassin's Creed 3 is a big open world game it doesn't mean that, development-wise, it would use the hardware in the same way that Metro does.
That's very nice of you, but not everyone has the time or money (or both) to own more than one console.
You're welcome! :D
*goes back to Nintendo's guinea pig labs*
After the seriousness of your post (to which I agree 100%), I laughed so hard at Christina's reply, I farted.
XD
Do it, I downloaded it last night, it's amazing. Awesome visuals, superb gameplay, and offline and online multiplayer! :D
If you do buy it, we could play it online together. Add me, my Nintendo user ID: deafdani
That comment just shows you don't have a Wii U. The online infrastructure in the Wii U is leagues beyond what PS3 and Xbox 360 offer, with an impressive social network built into it.
The problem here isn't the online. The problem is that, as of now, the Wii U is painfully slow for switching and loading applications. Once they're loaded, they actually run pretty fast.
And I know it's better because I own all the consoles, no fanboy speak here. ...
@blitz0623: nice one, you made me laugh with the twist at the end. :P
