Me too, buddy, me too. I've racked up an absurd amount of lives on Mario Bros. U, but I've also lost an absurd amount of lives hunting for star coins and secrets.
In my opinion, NSMBU is the best 2D Mario since Mario World.
Are you serious? Of course the game becomes harder if you try to get all the star coins. This isn't anything new to this entry, this applied to all previous NSMB games as well.
Of course Mario Bros U becomes easy if you just run and jump straight to the flagpole in the end. But where's the joy in that? Try and uncover all the game's secrets, and you're in for quite a ride.
Ok, I'll just let you know that Trine 2 is already awesome as it is for Wii U. This update will only make it even more awesomer. :P
Add me if you want, my Nintendo ID: deafdani
Well, Masahiro Sakurai has (or used to have, at least) a PS3, where he played several games.
Gah. The Spike Awards are a complete joke, that takes more into account the popularity of the games listed than their actual quality. They also lack imagination big time. For example, in the best handheld/mobile game category, they put New Super Mario Bros. 2 in there. Why? This year also saw Resident Evil Revelations and Kid Icarus: Uprising, which are much better games, but I guess they didn't think to nominate them because they're not as popular as Mario.
Their GOT...
For what it's worth, Epic Mickey seems to be crap on all consoles. It may be smoother crap on the 360, but it's still crap.
And the first Epic Mickey was also a pretty mediocre game, and the 3DS game is also bad. I don't know about you, but I think that means Junction Point actually isn't a pretty good developer, so I can't take his word seriously. Sorry, Warren Spector, but your work speaks for you.
GOTY right there, folks!
... I think people grossly misunderstood you.
:/
As opposed to Sony fanboys that buy anything with the Sony label on it, or Microsoft fanboys that buy anything with their label on it?
There are extreme fanboys for anything, this isn't exclusive to Nintendo. :P
On the subject at hand: I'm a big Nintendo fan, and I own the Wii U. I'm enjoying it immensely, while also aknowledging it has many flaws that need to be adressed. Not all of us are that closed minded, you know.
Crap, you're right, I didn't realize it's been more than a year already! Time goes fast. 0_o
Ok, take Uncharted 3 out of the list, then. :P
Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Xenoblade Chronicles and New Super Mario Bros U are my personal GOTYs this year.
My criteria: all of them are bloody fun. :P
You NEVER wanted it in the first place, so you can't want it less than you already do.
Actually, yes, I believe it. It's the only reason for such a short battery life, seeing how most tablets have twice that or more.
This was a pretty funny read. Thanks for the chuckles, Jim.
Lol, I guess people are disagreeing with you just because you're Mika. XD
But you're right, this article is one of the stupidest things I've ever read in my life.
Mr. All About The Games, what you've just published is one of the most insanely idiotic articles I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent diatribe were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the internet is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Nintendo themselves have said that the use of flash drives to save data on WIi U isn't advisable, because they have a limited amount of writes available.
Just telling you in case you didn't know. You would be better off storing your data in a external hard drive.
@RuperttheBear:
He didn't say Wii U games, he said Wii games. Read again.
Gamespot gave Skyward Sword a 7.5 because the reviewer didn't know how to use the motion controls properly. Yeah, I wouldn't trust them too much.
You mean on multiplayer? Yeah, it's weird for me as well, not being able to play with my girlfriend unless we both use Wii remotes. I prefer to play with the Gamepad, so I would like to play with her using the Gamepad (and in normal game, not in boost rush mode).
:/
