Only 42 hours in average? I was up to 45 something hours until last week,and I hadn't even reached the Mechonis yet (was still in Alcamot) , so I don't think I was even close to the halfway point of the game.
Unfortunately, burglars broke into my house a week ago,and they took my hdtv, laptop,and all of my game consoles (Wii, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360), as well as all the controllers, all my Xbox games and almost all of my PS3 games... but for some reason, they didn'...
He didn't say the motion controls were broken, he said he plain doesn't like motion controls at all.
For someone that doesn't like motion controls, I can see why Skyward Sword would be a huge turn off, don't you think? :P
Xbox 360 at $99 isn't gonna happen. The cheapest price at retailers right now (that I know of) is $200, so it's not logical to expect such a drastic price cut.
$150, on the other hand, is possible. And if that happens, I expect Nintendo to cut the Wii's price to $100. :P

Lol. You probably weren't born then, but Duck Tales on the NES was though as nails, so yeah, it was pretty hardcore. If this remake respects the difficulty of the original game, it will make many grown men cry.

If you don't care about the Wii U exclusives that much, then you'd probably be better off playing on a PS3. Just saying.
Sensible list, but it's lacking Mario Kart. That one would probably sell more Wii U's than any other game in the list, if sales figures for past Mario Kart games are any indication.

That being said, I really, really can't fathom how the author can criticize the story of Skyward Sword. It's okay if he hated the motion controls (it's not for everyone), but the story??? Really??? If anything, I think Skyward Sword has probably one of the best narratives and overall stories of the entire Zelda series, if not THE best. ...
No, they only said they would show them playable at E3, they never stated they would be out this year.

There once was a time when licensed games weren't necessarily bad, and many actually were quite superb. For example, the Disney games in the 90's (The Lion King, Duck Tales, Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers and Aladdin were all fantastic platformers).

About 10 or 11 years ago, the notion of trying to impose a pay-to-play model for online gaming (outside of MMOs and the like, that is) was absolutely unconceivable.
Someone got away with exactly that, and now they're raking in billions of dollars in profit each year with said service: yup, Microsoft.
So, I don't know whether all these "always on" rumors are true or not, but I do know that, if Microsoft wants, they probably will get away with...
Nah, there's already quite a decent amount of worthy titles to play on the 3DS.
Have you played the first Xenoblade? Because if you did, you'd know it really doesn't play like Monster Hunter, and it's very likely that Monolith's new game will play more like Xenoblade than Monster Hunter.
