A year since the duscae demo and a change in resolution on both systems and the framerate still sucks? Square Enix needs to get rid of that stupid post processing that blurs the image so heavily. It makes the game look so much worse than it should. Ridiculous.
The series started off as playstation exclusive. Only Tekken 6 and Tag Tournament 2 were multiplat so don't hold your breath.
This is honestly a poor list. Dishonored, Hitman, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.....really? Best graphics?
Being rated by the ESRB is confirmation that the collection exists and isn't just some rumor we could fantasize about based on leaks on previous foreign sites. Something isn't rated unless it's releasing so we are getting a collection of all 3 games and THAT is news.
Yeah, it was very unbalanced in a lot of ways, but it was dumb fun.
Infinite felt like a game that lost its way because it tried too hard to appeal to the Triple A shooter mainstream market. The opening of Infinite before any combat actually starts is still in my opinion the best part of the game. It didn't feel restrained. It was unsure of whether it wanted to be an intelligent/artistic video game or just a straight up shooter. It had this huge disconnect between the world and gameplay that the first game didn't have.
There is more to a game's visual make up than JUST resolution and framerates.
Attaching a bulky thing to your head is going to be the next standard???? No. This isn't HDTV where it's just a logical progression. This is something completely different and will be its own separate thing. Not a progression that leads to it being the new "standard". I myself am also waiting to see how VR does because over the years I have been an early adopter of way too many pieces of technology that went nowhere *cough* playstation move, kinect, 3D tv *cough*
*sigh* all you people ever look at is framerate and resolution. There are assets the game is made up of. There are clearly higher quality models, better lighting, better shadows, better textures, etc... In the game. It's not just a difference of framerate and resolution with the same assets. There is a dramatic difference in terms of just about every asset in the game. Stop using "1080p 60fps" as a shorthand as if it means anything. The ps4 could run a ps2 game at 1080p 60fps. D...
It's obvious the ps4 version would look better, but have you ever thought people find comparisons of different platforms interesting???? Just to see jai big the difference is? Taking note of every thing that is different? God forbid someone finds graphics comparisons interesting in general.
This video is such poor quality that the comparison isn't very good at all.
Definitely a big difference. And to think some guy on some comment called the ps4 game a "vita port". Yeah, definitely not.
@Ipunchbabiesforfun
No offense, but how are you "gamer" and haven't heard of Dino Crisis, Onimusha, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, or Ghosts N' Goblins. Even if japanese influenced games aren't what you're into, I find it difficult to believe you've never heard of any of those games and judging by the games you stated you as an American like only, I feel bad for you. Genuinely bad.
I personally think the best thing about being a gamer tha...
I'm getting a dungeon travelers 2vibe from this, which also had mostly sexy women as enemies and a lot of CG imahes of women in sexual poses after being defeated and it was an incredibly deep RPG so I'm hoping this is about as deep as that.
I also just looked up bully sales to confirm your statements...as of March 2008, the ps2 version alone sold 1.5 million.....Damage Control, bud. Damage control.
That's over the course of several years and again, look at the developers of Valkyria Chronicles and look at Rockstar....Rockstar clearly has more money...Why do you think the second game jumped to PSP? To cut down on production and development costs because they didn't sell well enough. And then why do you think the third was never localized? Because the franchise as a whole didn't sell well enough outside of Japan for them to justify it.
Bottom line is Rockstar co...
Valkyria Chronicles sold very poorly on PS3 and there was still a PC version and now we're getting a PS4 version. That game has sold FAR less and is a much more niche game from a developer that doesn't have as much money to blow as Rockstar and YET we are still getting the best version of Valkyria Chronicles for $30...so again. You're just doing damage control.
Stop trying to damage control a clearly wasted opportunity for what could have been the best version of Bully.
Valkyria Chronicles is a remaster(I saw some screenshots and a few texturesof distant buildings look better than the pc version) of just a last gen game. Not 2 gens ago. That is going to be $30....please tell me more about how a pc or Xbox 360 port of an originally ps2 game would cost $50? Oh, you can't? That's what I thought.
"Fine"
No. The duscae demo also was not pleasant to play because of the frame pacing issue and now this has frame pacing issues still on top of what seems to be more dramatic framerate drops. I couldn't finish the duscae demo because of the performance. This is no better. I don't know how you could think it's fine.
