I used RT mode in Doom Eternal, RE Village, and Control Ultimate Edition and never looked back but pop off, bro

Cheats disable achievements. There’s even a potential bug in the remasters that trophies/achievements could be disabled permanently even if you don’t save after doing a cheat

Literally over 1 million people paid for the deluxe edition to play it early when they could have waited a few days more for the normal release on game pass but pop off I guess.

What are you talking about. Xbox One X shows "up to 3840x2160" on the spec sheet compared to the Pro's 1800p checkerboard

The game runs perfectly fine on base consoles and on One X and PS5/Series X. PS5 has the 60fps mod and Series X also has the mod but also FPS Boost. Bethesda just targeted a resolution for the Pro that was too high to remain a locked 30. They opted for native 4K instead of a lower resolution or the dynamo resolution of the One X version. And yes, PS3 version was always terrible, but the 360 version ran fine for the time. Really, Skyrim isn’t as poorly optimized as you think. It’s just specifi...

Oh no. How dare owners of new consoles get better versions of existing games. How dare developers put in the effort to enhance games that they don’t need to and just leave it to backwards compatibility. Speak for yourself. I for one love every time I hear about a last-gen game getting enhanced. Been replaying Vampyr since the 60fps update and been loving it 😌

Just stop. It’s clear you do not know what you are talking about.

Uh it’s going to be better than that because the pc version is also getting a free upgrade along with the consoles? It’ll be more than just a pc maxed port. If that’s all it was, it wouldn’t be taking this long to bring a 6 year old game to these new consoles that are more than capable of maxing it out

This was already done by them. PS3 vs Switch https://youtu.be/_zqhKi0ro0...

I think you’re misunderstanding quite what the next-gen implementation is. Yes, they’re not native ports so they are limited to what extent they can use the ps5 and series x, but they do have enhancements under the backwards compatibility layer specifically targeting them.

If we look to the first Crysis remaster, the Pro and PS5 versions were not running at the same resolution and neither were the Xbox One X and Series X versions and this wasn’t just because of brute force...

People that bought the entry level machine complaining about graphics??? That’s odd to me because for only $200 more, they would have gotten double the internal storage and roughly triple the performance. This is far from the first multiplat where the Series S version isn’t so hot. Get ready for things like resolution to take an even bigger dive later into the generation.

I just don’t see why people that bought the lowest-end next-gen console that’s lower priced than the PS...

Yeah, reviewers and stuff saying it looks “AMAZING” but I’m not seeing it. The most aggressive pop-in in a game I’ve seen in years.

It’s not useless. It’s been a standard for racing games to up the visual fidelity in replays and photo modes to be able to take the most stunning screenshots without the associated rendering load of rendering it during gameplay. So many racing games have done this and GT 7 is no different. I’d rather RT in replays and the garage than no RT at all

I’ve just finished the third realm and reviews and people I have talked to say it takes 40-45 hours. I’m over 20 hours in and it’s gone by in a flash. Hasn’t felt like 20 hours to me so whatever

1593d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Overly long for a JRPG that’s only 40-ish hours? Which is very short by the genre standards/average. I don’t understand?

Are you talking about the Kaito expansion? Because kaito isn’t until spring next year

I don’t know. The conversations/animations were pretty awkward. The least polished interactions in a Remedy game. They were like open world rpg levels of awkward. Heck, I’d say even some like the Witcher 3, had more polished in-game conversation scenes

I literally started with 0 in and Kiwami in 2017, then played Kiwami 2 when it dropped. And had 6 sitting and waiting on my shelf until after the collection of 3-5 dropped. Then I ran through 3-6 in one massive continuous marathon. I’m sorry that i think Like a Dragon is one of the best ones and that having the same combat for 8000 games got repetitive and it was a breath of fresh air to get an actual change?

I welcome franchises taking risks and like a dragon was a massiv...

Spider-Man Remastered WAS paid!!! You didn’t get the ps5 version for “free” with Miles Morales. It was an “upcharge” when bundled with Miles Morales. I own Spider-Man on PS4 and to get th remaster, I have to pay $20 for the ps5 version!

(I had already bought the ps4 version of Morales for my brother because he told me didn’t want to wait until we got a ps5 to get the ps5 bundle)

They release a game every year. 2020 was Yakuza Like a Dragon. This year is Lost Judgment. It’s pretty safe to say the next Yakuza is next year
