It really wouldn’t have because you’d still have to have paid for the dlc and would still have to completely halt progress of your main game at multiple points throughout the story, go to the menu, and select the dlc story to play through. Even if every dlc episode ended up completed, the story would still be a poorly told, disjointed mess with a lack of proper pacing and progression from major plot point to major plot point.
The One and Switch would have had cross sharing for created content whereas the PS4 ecosystem was going to be stuck to only PS4 user created content so I don’t know why people are thumbing you down. The Xbox version was way more pro-consumer than the PS4 version because of content shared between it and switch planned
I don’t understand how anyone had hype for this game. Some people I know were actually excited. It looked like budget last gen trash. What were people seeing in this game?
I’m a hardcore fan. I played Last Round alone over 700 hours and put 20+ hours into DOA 6 between Friday and Sunday despite work the whole weekend. I’m not paying for the season pass and I didn’t get any of the 8 or so DOA 5 season passes. It’s WHALES that spend such an exorbitant amount of money on fluffy content. True fans get mad when a good game is hamstrung by awful business practices because they want their game to be more complete.
A review score after the first 10 hours? I mean it’s fine to give opinions and articles based on the first 10 hours of a game, but to title it a review AND give it a score? I don’t know about that.
All of these are a real stretch. STALKER is the only entry that could scratch a Metro itch.
Docking points for text descriptions of “torture porn” is really really funny. This guy really found the text only scenes that “uncomfortable” that it had to be listed as a negative?
The days we live in, man. The days we live in. Not only is sexual content a problem for these reviewers. Now it’s violence that’s only described in text that’s a problem? This is not the world I want to live in.
You don’t see a difference between 1080p and 4K if you have bad vision maybe.
It’s a massive divide. The Xbox One X runs it at native 4K with better performance than the PS4 Pro, which runs it at 1440p. 2.25x’s the resolution with more stable performance.
I’m playing on X and it’s it looks beautiful. The only real visual downside is the lack of tesselation across all console versions. Redux on consoles also lacked Tesselation, though that was mostly a concession to hit 60fps. This one targets 30, but I guess with the rendering improvements across the...
Also really convenient how you only blocked me IMMEDIATELY after my response to you on that hellblade post from the devs. Definitely was for other reasons. Totally.
That was one of like two or three things of yours I ever replied to.
And in a response to him, but not replying to him because he's not worth my notification, no one is thinking the update means a higher resolution or better visual quality.
"Improved 4K visual PERFORMANCE in games"
We know the general expectation is games will look exactly the same, but just run better?
He's anti-Xbox. He blocked me on twitter over a Hellblade argument he had with the devs. I'll try to condense it as much as possible for you guys. Here goes:
Ninja Theory made a post about VR coming to Hellblade on PC. Rob got butthurt and basically said it was a slap in the face to PS gamers that supported them in the first place. Said they were betraying PS consumers since the Microsoft buy-out. I responded to him and basically told him that the VR mode was built ...
@rude, we do get access to characters. You just have to use the red currency or whatever it’s called to unlock them. Exclusive skins are all battle pass owners get exclusively
@rude
If you know anything about this game, you’d know the weapons are much more useful than the legends’ abilities. Legends all can be unlocked without paying, but considering none of the characters so far are “clearly the best character whose abilities will absolutely net you a win”, it’s not the major thing you’re making it out to be. Abilities are more supplementary than game changing.
None of the stuff you unlock in this game or pay money for in this game will give you an advantage. The only exclusive battle pass owners get is exclusive skins that can’t be unlocked otherwise. Big deal.
In my experience across both PS4 and Xbox One, randoms generally do listen to my pings and they even help me out, pinging stuff they know i’d need and dropping ammo when I request it through the pinging system.
There will always be people that don’t play for the team in any game, but my experience with Apex has been the most positive I’ve had with randoms. I actually enjoy playing it without friends for several hours in one sitting because people actually are more helpful a...
the high time to kill is part of what makes Apex such a good battle royale. You have time to react to gunfire. You aren't basically dead before you know what even happened. It isn't a "I shot first so I win" game, which is incredibly encouraging within the genre.
Burnout Revenge was Burnout 4
