He wasn’t taken advantage of. When approached for the rights to make a game based on his characters and world, the author was given the option to either get royalties for every copy of the games sold OR get a one-time flat rate. He believed the games would be a disaster so he went with the one time payment. He’s an old-ass out of touch guy that doesn’t game so it’s his fault for being so cynical and assuming the games wouldn’t do well
How is that surprising? I would have figured that would be your first assumption when the game was announced.
Either the person’s a troll or the comment frames it in such a way that she’s only played 5, making her a new school fan. With this knowledge, she’d probably not like 1 Complete since it has not incorporated any new mechanics or systems from later games, making it disappointing for first-time players.
I can really only recommend it for hardcore fans that live and breathe Disgaea or to people that have never played the series before
Rondo of Blood isn’t on Xbox and the versions in this package are different. They’re based off the psp versions with the more accurate localizations and better voice acting. They’re different experiences.
Haven’t been into the series since the worst entries? 3 and 4 are infinitely better than the first 2
@GGEZ
No. They’re doing exactly what they did with 5. When it’s annouxned, they get the mainstream press off their back by showing more reserved costumes and pared back jiggle and using the “in a fighter tag line”
And we all know how DOA 5 ended up actually being. 6 is just following the same trend as 5. Release will have sexy costumes and post-launch dlc costumes will push the sexiness further.
Also, clearly you’ve NEVER seen the OMG breast opti...
And I just saw the Mila, bass, and Tina trailer. That BOUNCE on Mila
I mean I scored it a 5. That’s not “truly awful”, but it’s bordering on it.
If you’ve seen any gameplay recently, you’d see the jiggle. Even just on the character select screen, honoka, wearing two layers of clothing. A shirt and a sweater—jiggles unrealistically like good old DOA
They must be fanboys that think the battery life is perfect as is and could never want their precious Nintendo to improve anything. It is a hybrid. THE BATTERY LIFE SHOULD BE THE FIRST THING THAT IS IMPROVED IN A REVISION.
Better handheld battery life better be at the top of that model’s list.
Gears 4 has 34 multiplayer maps. That’s a LOT of content. Also keep in mind the X update with improved assets like “4K textures” which take up more space
Gears of War was also huge on multiplayer. At the peak of the original’s popularity, it was the single most played game on Xbox Live
It won’t be 1080p on switch. Standard PS4 version is 900p. It’ll likely be 720p or just below that on switch
Because it probably won’t be native. The last dynasty warriors game looked and ran like ass on both pro and x
@kev
Your comment about “even if it was only one game...” would hold true, but Hellblade was the only game they tested that ran 60fps. All the others were either in the mid-high 40’s or low 50’s and that’s not a good look for a $1,200 card with already released games, some of which are up to 2 years old and built to target current gen console platforms.
This isn’t like the old days with Crysis where it was an incredibly demanding PC only game that pioneer...
Deus Ex Mankind Divided is a 2 year old game built to target current generation platforms. The console versions are equivalent to the pc’s high pre-set so there’s only one preset above that and the fact that this brand new high end $1,200 card can’t run max 4k at 60fps is a little concerning. Even overclocked, it can’t manage it.
@theproblem, if you watched the video itself, which typically goes into more depth than the written articles, he says that it uses checkerboard rendering and notes that the artifacting is especially noticeable during hard camera cuts.
One important distinction. The pro reaches that resolution through checkerboard rendering. The Xbox One X reaches 2016p natively.
I never owned a base Xbox One. Bought the X.
