Look folks this is Microsoft. They aren't doing this for YOU the gamer, they are doing it to gain control of a market. Microsft operates by the "Three E" mantra: Embrace, Extend, Extinguish. There is a reason they have been judged a Monopoly in federal court. This is one of their practices to try and gain a monopolistic hold on a market.

WiiHD or Wii 2? Nah, don't see the need to as the Wii fills its' niche quite nicely as is. The XBox 720/XBox 3? No. Simply due to the fact that IF MS releases a new HD console so soon and drops the current like they did the original XBox it shows no confidence in their platform. OK I am lost here. I don't own a 360 but that statement threw me. The MC look-a-like armor doesn't do anything or ALL armor doesn't do anything? If it's the former cool but it is the latter... then why the hell would even bother?

The PS3 to date is approx. 5.5 mil units behind in sales worldwide. Two the PS3 for FY 2008 is still selling stronger worldwide than the Xbox 360 by approx. 1.5 million units. Nothing. The PS3 is selling better worldwide for FY 2008 than the XBox 360 and will have a huge surge with holiday sales and the sustained sales into 2009. Those sales coupled with the reduced cost in manufacturing due to higher yields of Cell processors using the new smaller process. As well as the cheaper Blu-Ray costs expect a price drop for the PS3 around June 2009.

I have both and can say that even with my 40 I have plenty of space left. That's including the installs for Burnout Paradise (purchased via PSN), Warhawk w/ all updates, GT5 Prologue, UT3 install and don't even know how many other installs plus the 1.x gig Bioshock demo. I still have about 13 gig left. Granted I am sure as time goes on I will be in need of upgrading my 40 gig to something larger but nothing in the immediate future.

Let's see.. sold 800 more than the PS3 this week. Lowest sales of PS3 ever. Xbox 360 sold less than the week prior to it. Hmm... Plain and simple MGS4 will not go to another console. Now as for any future MGS releases that's up in the air. Problem is that if it goes multi-plat the PS3 should be the lead console and then ported down to the XBox 360. Otherwise it will have to be developed with the least common denominator in mind and well, we all see how that goes.

This idea is bad on so many levels of bad it ain't even funny. The Xbox at it's core is no more than an inexpensive x86 based PC. Now Microsoft in their infinite wisdom wants to apply PC game making methods to console games with "Forward Compatibility". I can only see very bad things happening with this.

That Fable 2 is as good as it is touted to be. I don't own a 360 but I do love most of Molyneux's work. My favorite that I still play to this day is Populous. The only thing with OXM dropping this score early is that if other review sites don't score close or better it may be viewed as biased.

but the legacy lives on with the PS3. Twisted Metal, FF VII and MGS kept me going for a LONG TIME. Now.. Twisted Metal Black, FF X and soon FF XIII and MGS4 are doing the same. Salute!
When someone underestimates the demand for an online game. Classic examples of DOH! include: Ultima Online Classic, Everquest, WoW (until Blizzard created umpteen thousand nodes), EvE Online, Age of Conan (Week one)... You would think that with all the wonderful classic examples throughout online gaming people/companies would learn. Plan high and have the server nodes there even if they are lightly used at least you can shape the traffic and balance. Otherwise you get.. well, this.
