Not only will Sony keep the pace this holiday season but may actually set the pace for HD consoles. The Wii is a non-issue in this discussion as it will sell millions upon millions and do so effortlessly.
Sony as a company wouldn't do anything to commit suicide. They know they have a strong piece of hardware and a kick ass software library to back it up this holiday season. On top of that they also have an excellent first two quarters next year as well. If there is a price drop to be had it will be end of June next year when the 160 gig PS3 becomes mainstream. The 80 gig will get the $100 price drop. Wanna take bets anyone?
Is writhing in misery as he reads the review. Yes it's true Resistance garnered a 9.5 from IGN. No they are not on Sony's payroll so deal with it. Everyone knew that R2 was going to be huge, just not this huge. Hell when Killzone 2 hits I can only imagine the response. Now back to work for me and then when I get home some R2 beta, SOCOM, CoD 4 and will follow it up with some LBP. It's nice to be a PS3.

Notice that both here in the Open Zone and Gamer Zone the Xbots have been scarce at best. I felt a disturbance when I read this review... As if all their voices screamed out at once and were suddenly silenced.
I am sure that there may be some connection problems for some users based on ISP or geographic location. For both SOCOM and now LBP I have experienced ZERO lag and one connection issues. The only issue I have had with SOCOM was a disconnect on the third day of play followed by a freeze. Since then no problems at all.
hurts don't it? These are the quarterly reports like it or not. The PS3 snowball has now started it's trip downhill only to go faster and get bigger until it plows through the XBox 360.
This article isn't biased, it is not false or fake. These are the actual quarterly profits being reported by EA and Ubi to their shareholders. These numbers are as accurate as humanly possible because these reports are also filed with the FTC. So now the folks that still believe this is fake or whatever can feel free to call the FTC and tell them that these numbers are innacurate because the "XBox 360 r0x0rz" and I am sure they will be more than happy to look into it for you.

Dude these are the quarterly financials from the publishers. They are FACT, period as they are earnings reports. So now that we got all of this out of the way. The PS3 is more profitable for the publishers and devs to make games on. So more devs will be making the PS3 the lead console knowing this to capitalize on the market and profit.

Yet last night myself and a friend as well as who knows how many other thousands played SOCOM without a hitch for about 5 hours?
