I felt the exact same way. I was perfectly fine with whoever won - I was just rooting for the Colts more.
Clocking in at 10 bucks (at one brief point, half off), Bionic Commando: Rearmed is just as great a deal as Battlefield 1943 IMO.

No, I am one of the many Playstation 3 owners that was greatly disappointed that I even purchased Grand Theft Auto IV. Hopefully the announcement will be of a new IP.
Home seriously needs something along the line of an audio/video entertainment center. Maybe a virtual Bravia TV that allows for video playback (it could allow visitors of your apartment space to watch video from your "TV") from the PS3's HDD and a virtual Sony Surround System that allows for music playback also from the HDD. I mean, for Christ's sake, they have an "Appliances" section in the Furniture store with no items.

I agree with many of you in saying that there's a need for more adult themed games like this. Sony has finally stepped their advertising game up as of late, and this is one that they really need to push going into next year. Anything outside of the traditional shooters really need a strong push to have any kind of a market in this day and age.

Just as a number of you have mentioned, I have a launch 60Gig and it hasn't skipped a beat, neither games nor movies. Granted, I was leary about downloading FW 3.01 after hearing about numerous complaints, but thankfully, that was optional.
Out of all of these upcoming updates that has been circulating in the media as of late (cross game chat, cross game invites, Facebook, etc.), this is probably the only one that I would be remotely interested in. And maybe Netflix.
What's the release date on this game?
This seems more like "The History of Infinity Ward" moreso than Call of Duty. Treyarch's efforts (3 and W@W) were almost completely ignored in this piece.
Multiplayer has become a cancer for SP quality this generation, save for U2. Thank God (of War) that this feature did not "fit".
Aside from a few minor issues, this is a really great game, and a good alternative to the cliche FPS's ala COD.

...this article should've been more dedicated to games that just didn't live up to the potential, i.e. Bionic Commando and Kane and Lynch. There wasn't really much buzz about a lot of the games mentioned to begin with (I can even recall a number of people mentioning upon its announcement that Bionic Commando won't even measure up to BC:R...I don't see any "hype" in that at all). But I must say that GTA4 has to be the most overhyped game in video gaming history.
It would be nice if this was HS2. Heavenly Sword was a criminally underrated game during it's time, and boasts a story that IMO, has been unrivaled this generation.
